Hi, I'm Mni Muffin and I'm learning how to be a big girl. I'm learning to take care of my new baby brother, I'm learning how to read and write, and I'm learning how to do things like clean up my toys. That last one is the hardest of all. One of my favorite things to do is help Mama do the cooking and cleaning. Then we get to spend time together and I get to play with her. Although, Mama says we aren't playing but it sure seems like it!
This is my first webpage...but you'll have to forgive me because I don't know much about computers yet and I might make mistakes. Until Mama has time to get Baby Muffin his own webpage, he will share mine. I don't mind, he's too small to take up much room.
October - My how time flies! I've been so busy with my gymnastics and swimming and my Mocha Muffin that I haven't posted! I"m 3 now!!!!!!!!!
I had a great birthday party with my family and cousins! I am learning how to read and count and cook and everything.
I am in the preschool class at gymnastics, and I graduated form the Parent-Tot class, so now I am learning with a bunch of kids, not with Mama! I am having so much fun!!! I also start the first independent class in swimming this month too!
Mocha Muffin is getting big, and we play together every day. I love my little brother!

May - I know I haven't written in a while. I've been so very busy helping Mama get ready for Baby Brother. And you know what? Even though Mama and Papa said I might get a sister, I knew all along I was going to have a brother! And I did!! This month we went to the hospital and the doctor helped Mama get Baby Brother. I'm going to have to help Mama come up with a Muffin name for him.
Here's a picture of me with Baby Brother. There are more pictures in the family photo album.

January 12th - I spent the first night in my very own BED! That's right. I'm getting BIG! On Thursday Mama spent the day getting my room ready, set up my bed and took down my baby crib. Papa helped her with the crib and some of the other furniture. Then she got my bed made and all ready! I couldn't wait to try it out! But mean Mama and Papa wouldn't let me go to bed without supper!!!! MEANIES! They made me wait until bedtime. At least they let me put my jammies on a couple of hrs early! They told me that I couldn't get up until morning, yah like I'd want to!! My bed is COOL! It used to belong to Mama when she was my age. And Grandma took me shopping for the mattresses, and the sheets. I have cool Dora sheets too!!
I love my new bed. Its perfect for a growing girl like me. Thank you Mama, Papa, and Grandmas for helping me get my new bed.
December - December was a very busy month. We had Hanukkah, I got presents every day for 8 days! I got my new dolly, Mollie! She's a Cabbage Patch, Mama says. She looks like me, not cabbage! Uncle Doran had a party at his house, for his birthday. I liked some of the food, but I'm still learning about adult food, so not all of it was to my liking! We had a Hanukkah party at church, and that was FUN! We also had sleepovers with my cousins, and that was pretty cool!
November 24th - This was my third Thanksgiving, or so they say. I don't remember the other two. But this one was nice! Cousin Amber came to play with me, and I got to eat yummy Thanksgiving food. I LOVE cranberry sauce! Yum YUM!!
We also had the new baby's pictures taken the other day. Here's a copy of one of them. Mama gave me a copy of two pictures so I can see my baby brother or sister whenever I want. Isn't (s)he so cute!
October - I turned 2 this month! I had a blast learning new things. Mama says she's going to have a baby. So she's been practicing by babysitting my friend Baby Pete (Luke). I call him Baby Pete because he looks just like his Daddy, Pete! I get to help her with him, which I LOVE, and I get to play with him. I also get to hold him sometimes. And a few times I tried to read him a book or two, but he just slept. Oh well.
September - I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to update! I've visited California, and while on that trip I rode a camel and a elephant. I LOVE those animals now. I went to Georgia and met most of my Papa's family. I've also been taking swimming lessons and learning how to swim! I'm also learning how to speak Hebrew and Spanish! I hope I can update more often now that I am getting so smart!

March 11th - I've been so busy learning I haven't had a chance to update this page. I'm very sorry about that. I'm getting very smart, so smart infact that I actually recognize a several letters! I even know a few of the them by name! I've been able to repeat most of them after Mama, but this is really cool. I don't NEED her to tell me what all of them are. How cool is that! Papa has been working on my numbers with me and I've figured out a couple of those too!
I'm also getting really big. I can almost open up all the doors at home. I'm gonna keep my parents on their toes!
January 20 - I have a ride on train now! I also got some pictures taken with Mama and Papa and Grandma. But Mama says that they are done the way she needs to put them on my webpage, so you'll have to look at our photo album online to see them. They should be up there at the end of the weekend. I am starting to help Mama with the chores and I got to help her cook a couple of times. I am so happy that I'm getting big! My favorite chores are feeding the animals. Well, Mama says I have to go eat now, so I have to stop blogging!.

December events - Sorry, Mama and Papa have been so busy teaching me my colors and stuff that I haven't had time to come on here. I know the colors blue and purple, and am learning what the other color names are. I also am learning my alphabet and learning to be polite!!! When December was here we had Hanukkah! I got lots of presents from Grandma and the people at church. I also am growing a lot!

November 4 - I went to the doctor today and found out that I have my very first ear infection. Course Mama never noticed. No she left Grandma at my house last night and made me sleep and not get to play with her while Papa and Mama went to a meeting. Hmmph. Took a mysterious rash to for Mama to take me to the doctor. Then the awful mean Doctor made me hold still while he looked in my ears....I didn't want to. Anyway, I'll be better soon. I can hardly feel anything, which is probably why Mama didn't notice. But Mama's are supposed to know EVERYTHING! Monday I had a one year check up. The Doctor is a bit concerned about my weight, but gave us all ideas of what to do to help that along. So we are. I get to eat yogurt now, and all sorts of yummy things. Mama and Papa say that I can speak 25 words. They even said I have two 2 word phrases, and am operating at a verbal age of 18-24 months. Whatever that means. I suppose their excited cause I'm always trying to talk to them and sing and I try to tell them what I want to eat. I love to eat! Its a good thing Mama's a good cook.
My birthday party was FUN! They told me it was going to be a simple party. If that was simple, I can't wait to see what happens when I'm older! I wanted to post something about my birthday party a while ago, but never had the chance. Papa's been using the computer a lot recently. Now I have a chance to. My birthday party was Wednesday evening. We had pizza, salad, and my cake was a Red Velvet cake without the food coloring. Mama made the cake and frosted it, and Papa wrote my name on it. It was a grand party and everyone had fun and tons of food. Someone mentioned it was like Thanksgiving, too much food and all you could eat! Course, my real birthday was Friday, October 28th. Because I'd been feeling ill, all we did was have a nice calm day at home.
I can't believe it. I can WALK! I've been practicing walking alot! I also got my sixth tooth and it feels like I'm getting more. OOH, I can't wait til I get a whole mouthful Then nothing will stop my eating! And maybe tomorrow I will get to go to church. I love church. get so excited about going. One of my newest words was Jesus. I even can point out his picture. I'm getting big!

October 28th - TODAY"S MY BIRTHDAY! I'll put stuff about my party on soon.

October 21st - Yesterday I figured out this walking thing. Man, its not easy to walk. Everyone else makes it look so simple!!! But I finally figure out how to walk a few steps. I decided to try it yesterday when Mama was taking pictures of me, and then later while I was playing in the living room I practiced a little. Mama and Papa are super excited, and I'm pretty proud of myself too! I'm going to keep practicing and maybe I'll get as good as all the big people! I hope it doesn't take too long.
On Wednesday Mama and Papa took me to a store to get my pictures taken. I have to say, they came out pretty good. I just love getting my pictures done!! There were two little kids my age asking me why I couldn't walk on my own yet. Well, if I see them again, now I can tell them I CAN!! Also, Monday my sixth tooth came in. Thank goodness it won't be hurting anymore. That tooth took more than a month to cut through.

October 15th - The other day my mama took a short movie of me eating. If you want to see it ask her and she'll give you the url for it.
Today we went shopping for my birthday presents. I can't wait for my party. Mama says she's going to wrap up my presents and give them to me on my birthday. There's already one present sitting in my room! Its all wrapped up and 2Grandma sent it. 2 Grandma is my Great Grandma.

October 9 - It's almost time for Yom Kippur. My mama and papa told me that means the Day of Atonement. They also told me about Rosh Hasanah. They said that's the Jewish New Year. All I know is it is a happy time. We went to church and had yummy apples. I couldn't have honey because I am not old enough yet. Mama had cheesecake because she's allergic to apples. After Yom Kippur they told me is Sukkot, where we get to build a little booth and live in it. Oh goody. My family is big on camping, and that sounds like camping!!
Its also almost time for my first birthday!!! I'll be one soon! Keep tabs on this site because after my birthday I'll have Mama upload birthday pictures! I will also have a doctors appointment soon and will know how much I weigh and how tall I am, and if I'm big enough, Mama and Papa say they will turn my carseat around I can look out the window at where we are going. I can't wait!!!

August 27 - We just got back from farmsitting. Mama and I went to a farm and lived there for two weeks. I got to help feed horses and guinea pigs and dogs! The farm also has a HUGE iguana. Mama says it is a six foot iguana, but I only saw four feet. And boy, did those four feet have claws! Now the walking sticks they had have six feet. They also have chickens and ducks and pigeons. I learned how to quack like a duck and cluck like a chicken. The horses they had were cool, a tad big however. I liked to try to talk to the horses. They have a snake and turtles and a frog. We would go out and catch grasshoppers for the frog and his tankmate lizards. It was very fun up there. But I'm glad to be home.

In July I went to Seattle for the very first time. I had just turned 8 months old. I got to spend a few days with Mama and Grandma and some babies my age. It was very cool. We went shopping and played in a park together. We also went to a very tall tower called the Space Needle. Mama didn't take me up to the top but I did get to look around there and she bought me a shirt that says "Someone who loves me very much went to Seattle and got me this shirt." It was alot of fun and I made some new friends.
