Let me tell you a little about myself. Aww, what the hey, I'll just tell you my whole story, or at least the parts I remember. I don't remember very much of my puppyhood, because I was only a puppy. I remember that all my other siblings picked on me because I was the smallest. But I didn't like to fight back. My adopted mommy says that why I'll never be a good watch dog. But I think I would make a great watch dog if I could just learn how to tell time!
I also don't remember very much about my first people family. I think they were nice to me and all, and they had great kids. I love kids! I lived with them for about a year and then one day the daddy took me for a ride in the car and left me by the side of the road. I've been afraid of cars ever since. They make me sick!

I wandered around for a little while. I didn't know what to do, or where to go. Then, one day, I found this great place! The people live in these really weird houses. The houses are real long, with four doors on each. The people call them apartments, but, they don't look apart to me, but together. They should be called togetherments. Humans! They are always naming things weird names. I can't figure them out.
Well, anyway, the whole neighborhood took care of me for a while. But, you see, this place is at a school, and most of the people who loved me moved away. But the two I adopted didn't! So now I have a new mommy and daddy!
My new mommy and daddy love me very much. But as much as they love me, I love them even more. They feed me, play with me, and take me places whenever they can. And if they can't take me, they always leave me with a friend, instead of making me stay home alone. But best of all, they refuse to give me up. That's the kind of family I needed all along!

We moved to a new togetherment. Dogs were allowed there. My mommy and daddy weren't supposed to have companion animals at the old togetherments but they can at the new ones. During the first winter, I even got to sleep in the big room at the bottom of it. They called it a basement. That togetherment was really big. It had three floors to it! I didn't like it being so big because I couldn't look in like I could at the old place. The old place had a window at the back where I could look in and see everything. I couldn't see in anywhere at the new place. But there were good things about this new place. My Uncle Larry lived there with my Mommy and Daddy. And that was cool for a while. He let me get away with stuff I am not supposed to, like pulling on the leash and whining like crazy. And one more good thing was that I was allowed to live there.
I made some friends there. There was Pal, he was a beagle. He got a new mommy and daddy the year we moved there. He moved in three or four days before us. Where he lived before he was abused. My mommy says that he was a real "Shiloh", whatever that means. I guess it's a book she's read or something. He died a couple of weeks after my daddy died. When he was alive he lived with a cat named Buddy who can really scratch. Nothing like my best friend at the old neighborhood Jazmin. Jazz was a great cat, but she went wild and forgot me. Then there was the yappy pomeranian, Marcel, who lived next door to the left..
My mommy and I found out a bit about my dog family. Traindriver, my brother, lives across the creek from me, and my sister Molly lives about a mile away. They told me that my other sibling moved to North Carolina, and we don't know what happened to the last one. Molly, Traindriver, and my North Carolinian sibling were given to Molly's adopted mommy, and she adopted them out. The fifth one was ditched, like me, we believe.

Now we live in Washington State, and I have to make some new friends. Its not easy to make friends here in the city, mainly because I get to live in the house here, and sleep on the bed. Mommy's best friend teases her about that and says, "Dogs do not belong on the bed." and "Dog's do not belong on the couch." He also says I'm getting spoiled. But I don't mind!!
One more cool thing about living here in Washington State is that I got to have a baby finally. His name is Cricket and he's a grey tabby cat. You can read more about him on my main page.
