Stargazing Saturdays
Time: Ongoing for the month of October, 2005
Location: Danbury, NH
No telescopes necessary, for there's little light pollution. You can see a great deal with the naked eye, as long as it's not cloudy. Mulled wine / cider / mead will probably be on the menu, but expect that I'll ask for byob / potluck items to be added to the mix. I'll email those interested for a given weekend, and ask you to carpool if it's reasonable (I can probably accommodate about 7-8 cars, but that will vary)
Bring winter camping gear if you want to crash over, as there will be limited indoor crashspace (it was already down in the 40's at night as of Sept 10th). There are inns I can point you towards if you are interested in staying late, but don't want to rough it. There's also a small place nearby for brunch afterwards if desired.
