| Teenz can tottally live for Christ as well as any other person alive.. I was first saved when I was a teenager ( and No that wasn't that long ago) In 1996 I accepted Christ into my life. It was the best time of my life. Now Im not saying things have been great and I ain't never been hurt, down, scared. etc. But the thing is that God is there with me all the time.. He the best thing is God will be YOUR BEST FRIEND if you let Him be. But you have to let Him, You have to put God before anything and everything else in your life.. Another great thing about God, He will take you just the way that you are, You ain't gotta change for Him, He loves you. In fact He loves you so much He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross, so that if you accept Christ you will live forever in Heaven with Him.. John 3:16 says... For God So loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever Belives in Him shall not persh but have everlasting life. God also says in the Bible that No one has the promise of tommorrw, so please accept Jesus Christ before it is too late.. All you have to do to be saved is.. A-Ask, B-Believe, C-Confess, it is really as easy as ABC. If you are interested in accepting Christ, please click here. That page has alot of verses and the Sinners prayer on it.. | Whats up yo!?! I'm Albert Kopp from Cali. I am 16 & go to Valley High School. It is a Christian high school in Bakersfield, CA. It�s a pretty tight school. Only about 120 teens go there -all Christians on fire for the Lord. It is one of the few small schools. It operates a lot like any other school -public or private. Except that it is totally Christ-centered! Every Wed., we have Chapel in the morning for about an hour. Our classes are basically the same as public schools, except that it is mandatory for us to take one of their Bible classes each year. We have a dress code where the guys have to wear a collared shirt with slacks or cords, & the chicks wear a turtle-neck or a collared shirt with anything but jeans. They do not allow wallet chains, tattoos, or any piercing on guys. As for their �hair code� -they allow just about any hairstyle except for �tall spiked hair�, Mohawks, colored hair, and the like (they got on my case for that once). They do not allow secular music ! to blare on campus. Also, we have a block schedule for our last two periods -college style. We have most of the regular sports like football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, wrestling, and such. And yes� we have cheerleaders -its good times. We have rallies occasionally & one big lunch period for all the classes. We have an open campus for the juniors & seniors. Our Formal & Prom is a little strange. Since we do not have dances, we go to Disneyland or somewhere like that for our Formals & Proms (it�s a downer that wedo not have dances, but I�m still alive). If you need prayer for anything, you can always go up to anyone and ask them to pray for you. At the beginning of each class period, the teachers designate several minutes to prayer - we tell our prayer requests or �unspoken� & then we pray for each need. The faculty is very understanding & give grace to the students. We have a few clubs too, along with �first string prayer� every Mon. during lunch if you wish to go & pray about stuff. Overall, it�s a pretty cool school. |
