The story of the Phantom of the Opera, still continues to enthrall audiences. And instills speculation as to what happened after the curtain fell. I have attempted to round out the characters from the Andrew Lloyd Webber play. I would like to dedicate this to all the wonderful actors that have portrayed these wonderful characters over the years. But especially to the late, Steve Barton, whose wonderful
interpretations of Raoul, Vicomte de Chagney, first inspired this story.
The words below, are not mine, but are the lovely lyrics to the song you
hear playing. It was written for a TV movie made years ago, since
re-made called "Brian's Song". The other title is "The Hands of
Time" and fit how so many of us feel about Steve's loss. Rest well
Steve, you are remembered, and missed. So, sit back and enjoy my vision of what happened after the stage floodlights came up. This is a continuing story, so please stop back often!

If the hands of time were
hands that I could hold,
Id keep them warm and in my
hands,
Theyd not turn cold!
Hand in hand wed choose the
moments that should last,
The lovely moments that
should have no future and no past!
The summer from the top of a
swing,
The comfort and the sound of
a lullaby,
The innocence of leaves in
the spring,
But most of the moment when
love first touched me!
All the happy days would
never learn to fly,
Until the hands of time would
choose to wave good-bye!
The innocence of leaves in
the spring,
But most of the moment when
love first touched me!
All the happy days would
never learn to fly,
Until the hands of time would
choose to wave good-bye!
