| Monday |
| On Monday the star student shares their "I am a star" bag with the class. In the bag are pictures, toys, crafts, or whatever they want to display. |

| Tuesday |
| On Tuesday the star student reads the "Welcome to my World" book. This book tells us what their favorites are: favorite food, color, pet, time of year, etc. |
|
| Wednesday |
| On Wednesday the star student reads their favorite book to the class. If they do not feel comfortable, I will read it or a friend can help them. |

| Thursday |
| On Thursday the star student gets to enjoy some extra free time while the rest of the class writes about the star. The star gets to keep the book we make. |
|
| Friday |
| On Friday the star student invites in a special speaker to come in and share memories about the star. The speaker may also share a talent, craft, or snack with the class. The speaker should arrive at 2pm and plan on a half hour maximum. |
