Birthdays are an exciting time in first grade!
Many of the children like to celebrate it here with their friends and teachers. If you would like to send in a special treat, you are more than welcome to. I ask that you send in a note or email me a few days in advance of your plan.
Although we love having visitors here at the Mouse House, birthday celebrations usually take place around 2:45 in the afternoon and are only meant to be a quick activity. We pass out the treat, sing to our special student, and of course I hug them per year!
Some quick birthday treats are:
cupcakes, brownies, donuts, cookies, muffins, etc.
Sending in juice is optional, but if you do, please send in enough cups as well. With the treats, please send in either a plate to eat it off of or napkins. Feel free to call me if you have a questions. |
