by: Glimmeringstar Is the oldest form of communication between mankind, the oldest form of magic? Let's count the benefits of mime. It allows us to 'act out' our feelings, thereby releasing them, and it allows us to portray events, past, present and future. One of the blocks we have many times is envisioning our goal. I'm of course leading up to the enevitable question. Wanna change? Fake it through mime, in the privacy of your sacred ritual. It works! Example I'm going to use is mime performed at last years, 'CHILI FUNDRAISER'. Everyone involved in the mime has received the part we wrote for them. Me-I enacted High Priestess-Victory over obstacles...earth beneath my feet. HAPPENED!! High Priest-played the part of the wine god, who rose to manhood in acceptance of the magigal realm. Air-overcame a discomfort with kids. She portrayed a loving, healing, rational air with all surrounding the glow in her aura. Fire-transformation to be healed. Water-transformed to give her love to the world. Earth-stability received inheritance in this realm. It worked...wanna try? All within 6 monthes. Makes you think, doesn't it? |
