This was a really neat little kit and was very easy to build. The fit and detail of it was great. It only took me one week to get this "Huckebein" finished. If you are new to modeling, I think this little beauty will be a good kit to start off with.
This was this first kit that I added a couple of scratchbuilt pieces to. I built this 1/32 scale Bf109- E4 to be a replica of Adolf Galland's fighter. His plane was the only one in the German Luftwaffe to have a cigar lighter install onto the instrument panel. I had scratchbuilt a cigar and the cigar lighter and the line on the photo points to the cigar, but it's too small to see in this picture.

One thing that I really liked about this F-16 was all the bombs that came with the kit. Filling and sanding all 24 bomb will give you a few cramps in your hand, but the end result is well worth it. I tried yellow food coloring mixed with Future floor wax to give the canopy the golden haze that the F-16 canopys have and I think it came out pretty good. You may need to do a few coats to get more color on the plastic.

This has been one of my all time favorite planes since I was a kid. This Tamiya Corsair is really a beautiful kit. There's alot of detail, and I used the EZ Masks for the canopy rails. I've built two of these kits and I really enjoyed them both. I took this picture with the plane sitting in my driveway.
