TREMORS LACE TUTORIAL




    PREPARING
  1. Open tube, height maximum: 360 px. (taller then wide works the best).
  2. Duplicate tube (Shift D)
  3. Close original
  4. Choose a light colour from tube and select it as foreground
    colour in the material box
  5. Edit - Copy
  6. Minimize copy of tube
  7. Open your lace tube, height maximum 380 px.
  8. Duplicate lace tube (Shift D)
  9. Close original
  10. Optional: color your lace tube in your foreground color (see TIPS)
  11. Minimize your lace tube copy

    BACKGROUND TILE
  12. File � New Image (200x200, transparent)
  13. Selections � Select all
  14. Edit � Paste - Paste into Selection
  15. Selections � Select none
  16. Layers � New layer (raster)
  17. Floodfill layer with light foreground color
  18. Layers � Arrange � Send to bottom
  19. Layers � Merge � Merge visible
  20. Effects � Image effects � Seamless tiling: default
  21. Effects: Funhouse: Tremors with these settings:



    settings: frequency: 230, Linear Tremors: 140 and angular Tremors: 64.
  22. Effects � Image effects � Seamless tiling: default
  23. Minimize background tile

    BACKGROUND
  24. File � New Image (1280 x 400, transparent)
  25. Go to your material pallet and put your background color
    (box) to pattern



  26. Choose your settings: angle 0, scale 100,



  27. Choose your background tile as pattern
  28. Flood fill the Background with your pattern
  29. Layers - New raster layer
  30. Floodfill with your light foregroundcolor
  31. Lower opacity of this layer to: 70-90. I used 81 and 85.
    The pattern should just be shining through.
  32. Layers � Merge � Merge all (flatten)�
  33. Activate your lace tube
  34. Optional: color your lace tube in your foreground color
    if you want to and haven't done so in the beginning (see tips below)
  35. Edit � Copy
  36. Activate your background
  37. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  38. With your Mover Tool (Toolbox move the lace tube to the left
  39. Center your lace tube there
  40. Optional: Effects � 3d Effects: Dropshadow with these
    settings: horizontal & vertical: 1, opacity: 50, blur: 1, black
  41. Activate your tube
  42. Edit � Copy
  43. Activate your background again
  44. Edit � Paste as New Layer
  45. With your mover tool move your tube to the left
  46. Position tube nicely at a spot on the lace tube
  47. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: these settings:
    Horizontal & vertical: 4, Opacity: 45, blur: 22, black
  48. Layers � new raster layer: add your watermark
  49. Layers � Merge � Merge all (flatten)

    FINISHING
  50. File � Export � JPEG Optimizer (between 22-26)
  51. Open Letter Creator
  52. In your Body open your background
  53. In your body tile
  54. Choose matching color for text, choose margins
  55. In your Footer mention your credits
  56. Finish


TIP Color your lace tube in your foreground color:
Adjust � Hue and Saturation � Colorize: settings like you noted
them down for Hue and Saturation (for me: 141 and 83, for you
different). You see the �H� and �S� of Hue and Saturation
Your lace tube must be in your backgroundcolor now.
