TREMORS LACE TUTORIAL
NEEDED:
- PSP
- Letter Creator
- Tube of your choice
- Lace Tube of your choice. If you haven't got one go to the group files

LEVEL:
Beginner with basic knowledge of paint shop pro, letter
creator and filters.
PREPARING
- Open tube, height maximum: 360 px. (taller then wide works the best).
- Duplicate tube (Shift D)
- Close original
- Choose a light colour from tube and select it as foreground
colour in the material box
- Edit - Copy
- Minimize copy of tube
- Open your lace tube, height maximum 380 px.
- Duplicate lace tube (Shift D)
- Close original
- Optional: color your lace tube in your foreground color
(see TIPS)
- Minimize your lace tube copy
BACKGROUND TILE
- File � New Image (200x200, transparent)
- Selections � Select all
- Edit � Paste - Paste into Selection
- Selections � Select none
- Layers � New layer (raster)
- Floodfill layer with light foreground color
- Layers � Arrange � Send to bottom
- Layers � Merge � Merge visible
- Effects � Image effects � Seamless tiling: default
- Effects: Funhouse: Tremors with these settings:
settings: frequency: 230, Linear Tremors: 140 and
angular Tremors: 64.
- Effects � Image effects � Seamless tiling: default
- Minimize background tile
BACKGROUND
- File � New Image (1280 x 400, transparent)
- Go to your material pallet and put your background color
(box) to pattern
- Choose your settings: angle 0, scale 100,
- Choose your background tile as pattern
- Flood fill the Background with your pattern
- Layers - New raster layer
- Floodfill with your light foregroundcolor
- Lower opacity of this layer to: 70-90. I used 81 and 85.
The pattern should just be shining through.
- Layers � Merge � Merge all (flatten)�
- Activate your lace tube
- Optional: color your lace tube in your foreground color
if you want to and haven't done so in the beginning (see tips below)
- Edit � Copy
- Activate your background
- Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
- With your Mover Tool (Toolbox move the lace tube to the left
- Center your lace tube there
- Optional: Effects � 3d Effects: Dropshadow with these
settings: horizontal & vertical: 1, opacity: 50, blur: 1, black
- Activate your tube
- Edit � Copy
- Activate your background again
- Edit � Paste as New Layer
- With your mover tool move your tube to the left
- Position tube nicely at a spot on the lace tube
- Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: these settings:
Horizontal & vertical: 4, Opacity: 45, blur: 22, black
- Layers � new raster layer: add your watermark
- Layers � Merge � Merge all (flatten)
FINISHING
- File � Export � JPEG Optimizer (between 22-26)
- Open Letter Creator
- In your Body open your background
- In your body tile
- Choose matching color for text, choose margins
- In your Footer mention your credits
- Finish
TIP
Color your lace tube in your foreground color:
Adjust � Hue and Saturation � Colorize: settings like you noted
them down for Hue and Saturation (for me: 141 and 83, for you
different). You see the �H� and �S� of Hue and Saturation
Your lace tube must be in your backgroundcolor now.
