THREE SIGNS TUTORIAL




    PREPARING
  1. Open tube, height maximum: 360 px. or resize to max. 360 Width no more then 400
  2. Duplicate tube (Shift D) and close original
  3. Chose a light color from tube and select it as foreground
    color in the materialbox
  4. Chose a dark color from tube and select it as background color
    in the materialbox
  5. Minimize Tube

    SIGN
  6. File � New � New image of 190x90 pixels
  7. Floodfill your image with your light foreground color
  8. Image � add borders: settings: Symmetric checked, Top, Left,
    Right, Bottom: 5 px. Color: background color
  9. Effects � 3d effects � Inner Bevel: with these settings



    Bevel: 2, Depth: 2, Width: 2, Smoothness: 0, Depth: 2,
    Ambience: 0, Shininess: 0, Angle: 315, Intensity: 50,
    Elevation: 30
  10. Edit - Copy

    BACKGROUND
  11. File � New � New image of 1280x400 pixels
  12. Floodfill your image with your light foreground color
  13. Effects � Texture effects � Blinds: with these settings
    Width: 5, Opacity: 30, Color: background color. None checked
  14. Edit � Paste � Paste as a new layer
  15. With your mover tool move your sign to the left top. The top
    left corner point should be at 20 horizontal and 20 vertical.
  16. Effects � 3d effects � Dropshadow: vertical and horizontal: 3,
    Opacity: 45, Blur 15, color: black
  17. Repeat dropshadow but with vertical & horizontal: - 3
  18. With your text tool put in a matching text
  19. Optional: use a 3d effect to have your text stand out
  20. Put your background to invisible (clicking eye)
  21. Layers � Merge � Merge visible
  22. Make your background visible again
  23. Layers � Duplicate
  24. With your mover tool move your copy to the same spot but
    Below with 35 pixels in between
  25. Layers � Duplicate
  26. With your mover tool move your copy to the same spot with 35
    Pixels in between
  27. Activate your tube
  28. Edit � Copy
  29. Activate your background again
  30. Edit � Paste � Paste as a new layer
  31. With your mover tool move your tube to the left to a nice spot.
    It�s nice when you can still some of the signs.
  32. Effects � 3d effects � Dropshadow: Horizontal & Vertical: 3,
    Opacity: 45, Blur: 15
  33. Layers � New raster layer
  34. Add your watermark
  35. Layers � Merge � Merge all (flatten)

    FINISHING
  36. File � Export: JPEG Optimizer with compression of 22-25
  37. In Letter Creator in your Body open your background and tile
  38. Chose a matching text color and place margins
  39. In your Footer mention your credits
  40. Finish
