GOLDEN FLOWER TUTORIAL



    PREPARING
  1. Open tube, height maximum: 350 px
  2. Duplicate tube (Shift D)and close original
  3. Choose a light colour from tube and select it as foreground
    colour in the material box
  4. Choose a darker colour from tube and select it as background
    colour in the material box
  5. Edit - Copy
  6. Minimize copy of tube

    GOLDEN FLOWER
  7. File �New Image: 400x400 (transparent)
  8. Activate your Preset Shape Tool in your toolbox
  9. Select your flower shape
  10. View � Rulers
  11. In your image start drawing at 20 horizontal until
    20 vertical (20-20) and stop at 380-380.
  12. Select your magic wand in your toolbox and click once in your flower
  13. Hit delete.
  14. Layers � Convert to raster layer
  15. Edit - Paste � Paste as New Layer
  16. Layers � New raster layer
  17. Floodfill with your light foreground color
  18. Layers � Arrange � Send to bottom
  19. Layers � Merge � Merge visible
  20. Effects � Reflection Effects � Pattern: default settings
  21. Adjust � Blur � Gaussian Blur: radius of 15
  22. Effects � Bordermania � Round button 1: settings:

    Settings: Border Width: 125, Light Angle: 0, Light Intensity: 128
    Outside Mask: 0, Outline Width: 0, Color: black, 50 anti-alias
  23. Selections � Select None


    Selection Type Circle, Mode: Replace, Feather: 0 and Anti-Alias: checked.
  24. Now we are going to draw a circle selection. Starting point at
    200-200. Draw the circle to the point where the flower leaves
    begin at the edge of the inner circle. That�s about 105 from
    each edge.
  25. Edit � Paste � Paste as new layer
  26. With your mover tool move your tube until there is a part in the
    circle that you want to have focused. You should move with a
    part that is situated outside the circle selection.
  27. Selections � Invert
  28. Hit the delete button once
  29. Selections � Select none
  30. Effects � 3d effects � Dropshadow: Vertical & Horizontal: 3,
    Opacity: 45, Blur: 10 and Color: black.
  31. Layers � Merge � Merge Visible
  32. Effects � 3d Effects � Inner bevel: with these settings:


    Bevel: 2, Width: 3, Smoothness: 0, Depth: 3, Ambience: 0.
    Shininess: 20, Angle: 315, Intensity: 50 and Elevation: 30
  33. Edit � Copy
  34. Minimize, we will use this flower later
    BACKGROUND TILE

  35. File - New Image: 400-400 Transparent
  36. Selections � Select all
  37. Edit � Paste � Paste into Selection
  38. Selections � Select none
  39. Layers � New raster layer
  40. Floodfill with your foreground color or background color
  41. Layers � Send to bottom
  42. Layers � Merge � Merge All (Flatten)
  43. Effects � Image effects � Seamless Tiling: default settings
  44. Adjust � Blur � Gaussian Blur: radius of 20
  45. Effects � Penta.com � Dot and cross: with these settings:


    Settings: Amount: 150, Cross distance: 60, Cross width: 13
  46. Effects � Image effects � Seamless Tiling: Mirror and
    Bidirectional checked, Horizontal and Vertical Offset: 0 and
    Width: 50
  47. Optional: Image � Resize � Resize to 50 %, all checked
  48. Your background tile is now ready, minimize

    BACKGROUND

  49. File �New Image: 1280x400 (transparent)
  50. Go to your material pallet and put your background color (box)
    to pattern


  51. Click once to open your Material Properties box.
  52. Choose your settings: angle 0, scale 100,
  53. Choose your background tile as pattern
  54. Floodfill the background with your pattern
  55. Layers � New raster layer
  56. Floodfill this raster layer with your light foreground color
  57. Lower opacity to 50-80.
  58. Layers � Merge � Merge All (Flatten)
  59. Edit � Paste � Paste as new Layer
  60. Move your flower tube to the left, leave symmetrical
    spaces from top, bottom and left edge
  61. Effects � 3d effects � Dropshadow: vertical and
    Horizontal: 3, Opacity: 45, Blur: 10 and color: black
  62. Layers � New raster layer
  63. Add your watermark
  64. Layers � Merge � Merge all (flatten)

    FINISH

  65. File � Export � PJEG Optimizer: compression of 22
  66. Open Letter Creator
  67. File � open your letter
  68. Tile in your body
  69. Mention your credits in your footer
  70. Finish
