GIRLISH SCRAP TUTORIAL



    PREPARING
  1. Open your tube
  2. Duplicate tube (Shift D) and close original
  3. Choose a light colour from tube and select it as foreground
    colour in the material box
  4. Choose a darker colour from tube and select it as background
    colour in the material box
  5. Minimize copy of tube

    HEADER
  6. Click once in your foreground color box in the material box.
  7. In the material properties box look at the Hue and Saturation
    numbers of the foreground color and remember these
    or note down

  8. Repeat for the background color.
  9. Open all your plaids, the heart and the ring.
  10. Optional: Adjust � Hue and Saturation � Colorize: settings:
    Put here the numbers you noted down before. Do this for
    each of the scraps when the original plaids and embellishments
    don�t match your tube. You can use either or both the foreground
    and background colors. Then continue.
  11. Activate your plaid08
  12. Edit - Copy
  13. Activate your plaid11 image
  14. Duplicate (Shift-D)
  15. Close the original, we will work on the copy (we will call this header
    from now on)
  16. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  17. With your mover tool move your plaid08 to the left top corner or a
    spot you like.
  18. Image �Free rotate : Right checked, Free checked: 15 and 'Rotate
    single layer around canvas center': checked
  19. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: with these settings: Vertical
    & Horizontal: 1, Opacity: 50, Blur: 1, Color: black
  20. Activate your plaid09
  21. Edit - Copy
  22. Activate your header image
  23. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  24. With your mover tool move your plaid09 to the left center
    or a spot you like.
  25. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: with these settings: Vertical
    & Horizontal: 1,
    Opacity: 50, Blur: 1, Color: black
  26. Activate your plaid10
  27. Edit - Copy
  28. Activate your header image
  29. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  30. With your mover tool move your plaid10 to the right top corner
    or a spot you like.
  31. Image �Free rotate : Right checked, Free checked: 35 and 'Rotate
    single layer around canvas center': checked
  32. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: with these settings: Vertical
    & Horizontal: 1, Opacity: 50, Blur: 1, Color: black
  33. Activate your plaid12
  34. Edit - Copy
  35. Activate your header image
  36. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  37. With your mover tool move your plaid12 partly on top of the plaid10.
  38. Image �Free rotate : Left checked, Free checked: 35 and 'Rotate
    single layer around canvas center': checked
  39. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: with these settings: Vertical
    & Horizontal: 1, Opacity: 50, Blur: 1, Color: black
  40. Activate your heart
  41. Edit � Copy
  42. Activate your header image
  43. Edit � Paste as New Layer
  44. With your mover tool move your heart to a nice spot
  45. Effects � 3dEffects � Dropshadow: same settings.
  46. If you want a second heart:
    Layers � Duplicate and move to another spot. You might want to
    rotate and/or resize.
  47. Activate your ring
  48. Edit � Copy
  49. Activate your header image
  50. Edit � Paste as New Layer
  51. With your mover tool move your ring to a nice spot
  52. Effects � 3dEffects � Dropshadow: same settings.
  53. Layers � Duplicate
  54. Move to a nice spot with your mover tool.
  55. Repeat steps 52 � 53 until you have enough rings positioned.
  56. Activate your tube
  57. Edit � Copy
  58. Activate your header
  59. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  60. With your mover tool move your tube to a nice spot
  61. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: settings: Vertical &
    Horizontal: 3, Opacity: 40, Blur: 10 and color: black.
  62. Layers � New raster layer
  63. Floodfill with white or a light matching color
  64. Layers � Arrange � Send to bottom
  65. Layers � Merge � Merge all (Flatten)
  66. File � Export � JPEG Optimizer: compression of 24
  67. You can close the header now

    BACKGROUND
  68. Activate your plaid09 image
  69. Image � Resize � Resize to 110 %, Bicubic, All layers Checked.
  70. Edit � Copy
  71. File � New image: 1280 x 400 (transparent)
  72. Floodfill your image with white or a light color (same as In the header)
  73. Edit � Paste as New Layer
  74. With your mover tool move your plaid09 copy to a nice spot
  75. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: Vertical & Horizontal: 1
    Opacity: 50, Blur: 1 and Color: black
  76. Activate your tube image
  77. Optional: Image - Mirror
  78. Image � Resize � Resize to 80 or 90 %, Bicubic, All layers Checked.
  79. Edit - Copy
  80. Activate your background
  81. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  82. With your mover tool move your tube to a nice spot on the Left,
    nicely positioned on the plaid09
  83. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: Vertical & Horizontal: 3
    Opacity: 40, Blur: 10, Color: black
  84. Activate your ring
    VARIATION: you can choose here for your heart
  85. Edit � Copy
  86. Activate your background
  87. Edit � Paste � Paste as New Layer
  88. With your mover tool move to a nice spot
  89. Effects � 3d Effects � Dropshadow: Vertical & Horizontal: 1
    Opacity: 50, Blur: 1 and Color: black
  90. Layers - Duplicate
  91. With your mover tool position nicely
  92. Repeat step 89 - 90 until you have enough rings
  93. Layers � New raster layer
  94. Add your watermark
  95. Layers � Merge � Merge all
  96. File � Export � JPEG Optimizer: compression of 22

    FINISH
  97. Open Letter Creator
  98. File � open your letter and tile
  99. In your header open your header and center
  100. Mention your credits in your footer
  101. Finish
