So where'd ya git yer nickname, anyway? Jack and Spot gave it to me. Said I was always true to me word and me friends. It jis kinda stuck.

So tell me yer story, I won't tell no one Well, Its kinda a long story. When I was lil', 4 I tink, me Ma got real sick. I went wid my Da an' bruddah', Jack, ta go get da doctah'. While we was gone, da building we lived in caught on fire. Dey sayed no one made it out alive. Da took me an Jack ta a friend a his dat I called Aunt Medda. Da disappeared an we latah' hoid dat he got put in jail. Medda had her hands full wid her place an didn't need two kids running 'bout undah' foot so Jack started selling papes as a Newsie an I would help him. Spot, who is Jack's best friend that lived in the same building with us, started selling as a newsie too. He talked Jack inta moving into da Lodging house dere so we did and we's been heah eveah since.

Describe yer looks: Well, nuttin much. I'se pretty plan. **you see a very small petite girl
smiling shyly at you. She is wearing dark nickers with suspenders at her
waist an' a white shirt. Her hat is tucked into her back pocket.**
Sometimes, I wears a dress, but dat is mostly jus' fer special days. Me
'air is 'bout shoulda' length maybe a bit more. It is straight but wid a
slight curl ta it. Oh yeah, its Blonde. Its usually down free, pulled back
or tucked under me cap. Me eyes be bright crystal blue. **grins** dey me

I am a good listener an try ta help me friends wid dere problems. I'se usually always smiling. Ya can tell how I feel or whad I think by da look on my face or how I act. I can be onery sometimes an' occasionally get me self into trouble. I's a good fighter an can hold me own wid da best a 'em. Jack an Spot taught me how when I was real lil'.
