| Life is one big wait Filled with so much hate Those who are impatient don't get to far It's like we're in the fast lane with out a car Some die with a name And some die with a lot of shame Will you go under or will you be saved You wont know until you're in the grave. Hearts are often crushed Our cries are often hushed From our troubles we hide The pain we feel is kept inside Love is a transient emotion This is just a truthful notion Some say "never to love, is never to live To receive you must also learn to give". Fears are our nightmares Screams that no one hears Dreams we wish we never had Thoughts that make us extremely sad Silent cries for a rescue, a simple helping hand We never want to help but always in demand Are our fears only a delusion Is all we have is this illusion? Do we really need lovers To keep us warm under the covers Bask stabbed by the one we trust They fall victim to their own lust Your honey is nothing but a tease Be careful a stray dog will only give you fleas Your first priority is always protection So you don't end up with a deadly infection. The world can be so cold with nothing warm to hold No sweet, caring places Just people with ugly faces Violence is everywhere you look Another preciouse life that got took Think of the future, don't dwell on the past Always remember "You come first and they come last"! |

| Life is full of hardships and people that don't care When you talk, it seems like no one can hear When you don't understand your heart feels terror Most of us learn by trail an error Life if full of racism and a lot of put downs Sometimes it's hard to stand your ground Even at home you can feel the affect At your place of rest you shouldn't feel upset Life isn't all negative there are positives You must be brave in the life that you live The courage you need is right inside Stand up for yourself and don't you hide Life is full of joys and a lot of dreams Sometimes it's not at all what it seems To dream you must have an imagination Not all things come fast so you must be patient. |
