(from my own experience, when I took the synthetic estrogen
replacement, my symptoms increased *GREATLY*!! My lyme doc feels
that these synthetic HRT's are feeding the yeast. Whether it is
yeast, lyme, or both, all I know is that I was quite ill while on
them! Now that I am on natural estrogen, "tri-est" from
a natural compounding pharmacy, I have had no side effects! And
I'm much easier to live with :)
