Chapter 5
On one of Jason’s Jets

“So are you going to tell me where we are going?”  Robin asked snuggling up against Jason.  The cabin of the plane is lit with only a few lights so it is practically dark (much to the liking of the newlyweds).  Jason and Robin are seated on one of the plush couches.  They had been on the plane for a little less then an hour.

“I guess there is no harm in telling you now that we are on out way there.  I didn’t want to tell you earlier because it would have ruined the surprise.  We’re on our way to Switzerland.”  Jason plays with her hair and smiles.

Switzerland?!?”  Robin asked excitedly.

“Yep, I remember you talking about it once, so I thought that it would be a good idea for part of the honeymoon.  Is it alright with you?  Cuse if it isn’t we can go somewhere else.”

“No, this is perfect.”  They settle back into a comfortable silence.

A few minutes later the pilot comes on the intercom to inform Jason that there is an urgent phone call from Erin Brown.  Robin looks at Jason worried and picks up the phone.  Erin?  What is it?  Is something wrong?  Are you okay?”  Robin’s cool voice betrayed how worried she was.

Woh, one question at a time.  I’m fine, nothing’s wrong.  I was just calling you because I thought you would want to know that Brenda had her babies.”  Erin said with a little giggle.  Robin was becoming more and more of a mother to her.

“She did?”  Robin said excitedly jumping up, right into Jason’s jaw.  He had been resting his chin lightly on the top of Robin’s head for the past few minutes.  Jason rubbed his jaw and looked down at Robin.

Robin could barley contain a giggle after seeing the look on Jason’s face.  It was a mix of shock and pain.  It wasn’t major pain, but just enough to be annoying.  Erin said something that Robin didn’t quite hear.  “What was that?  I couldn’t hear you.”

“Oh, nothing.  I was talking to Nik.  He’s staying with me for a little bit.  Don’t ask, it’s a long story and I’ll tell it to you when you get back.”

“Boy or girl?”  Robin asked.

“What?”

“Brenda’s baby; was it a boy or girl?”  Robin repeated.

“Oh, both, she was having twins, remember.  They named the boy Joseph Stone Jax.  Stone for short.  And she named the girl Lilly.  Isn’t that the most beautiful name?”

It took a moment for the name to register for Robin.  It wasn’t that she had forgotten the name; she just never thought that Brenda would name one of her kids after Stone.  Robin’s eyes began to gather tears and Jason looked at her for and explanation.  Robin smiled to reassure him that she was okay.  “Is she naming him after that guy in the picture that you showed me a wile ago?”  Erin’s voice brought Robin back from her memories.

“Yah, she probably is.”

“Oh okay.  Well I just thought you would want to know.  I gotta get going.  Call me later okay?”

“Sure thing.  Thank you for calling.  Give my love to Brenda, Jax, Lilly, and Stone.”  Robin choked on the last name.

“What was that all about?”  Jason asked rubbing her arm.

“Brenda had her babies.”  Robin’s eyes were brimming over with tears.  “She named the girl Lilly and the boy…” Robin paused to regain her composure.  “She named him Joseph Stone.  But she’s going to call him by Stone.  Some times I forget how much of an impact Stone had on people, then bam!  Someone else pops up and does something in his name.”  Tears were now spilling down her cheeks.

“Stone affected everyone’s lives.  Hey, even I am owe a lot of my happiness to him,” Robin looked at Jason; not quite understanding what he meant.  Jason took her into his arms and explained.  “If it hadn’t of been for Stone, I might never have met you.  And you are the only thing in my life that really makes me happy.”

Robin called Brenda to see how she and the twins were doing.  Brenda was exosted so they didn’t talk much, but Brenda was happy to hear from her.

Outside Luke’s

Liz and Lucky walked up to the door and paused.  “Is it just me or dose it seem that we just did this?”  Lucky joked.

“Telling your folks was the easy part, now we have to sit through a celebration party, this is only the beginning.”  Liz retorted.

“Your right about that.  This is only the beginning.”  Lucky kissed Liz sweetly on the lips and they entered the club.

3 hours later

Liz flopped down on her bed and sighed.  “Remind me when we have kids, never to through an engagement party.  Okay?”

“What you didn’t like the party?”  Lucky teased, falling down next to her.

“No, I loved it.  What I meant is that I want your folks to handle all the parties.  I don’t think I could have come up with half the stuff they did.”  Liz grabbed a pillow and curled up in the middle of the bed looking at Lucky.  The room grew silent for a few minutes.

“Okay what are you thinking?”  Lucky asked breaking the silence.

“How did you know I was thinking anything?”

“You get this funny far off look on your face when ever you begin to think really heavily.  Plus I saw the smoke coming out your ears.”  Lucky teased.

“Oh is that so?  If we were in a cartoon and you got and idea, there would be a candle above your head instead of a light bulb.”  Liz shot back playfully.

“Oh is that so?”

“Yes it is.”

“Well then I don’t think I would be smart enough to think of this.”  Lucky grabbed a pillow and hit Liz playfully.

“Oh, so that’s how you want to play?” Liz grabbed her pillow and hit Lucky back.  Within minutes the two were fully engrossed in an all out pillow fight.

Lucky landed a blow right in Liz’s stomach causing her to turn around to protect herself, then he hit her in the back causing her to fall down onto the bed once again.  Lucky pined her wrists above her head.  “You know I could get used to this.”  Liz said seductively.

“So could I, babe, so could I.”  Lucky lowered his lips down to her and kissed her passionately.  Lucky fell on top of her, their kiss intensifying.  They drank form each other’s lips as if they hadn’t kissed in years.

Liz sighed and pulled Lucky down next to her and rested her head on his chest.  “Just think, one of these days you won’t have to go home by one every night.”

Lucky laughed at the memory of Rubby having ‘the talk’ with both of them.  She had knocked on the door one morning when she had noticed that Lucky’s car was still parked outside.  They had fallen asleep watching a movie and by the time they had woken up, Liz told him that it was to late for him to drive home and he had just stayed the night on her couch.
