CHAPTER TEN

The next day some people found the bodies of the boys and the day after that a funeral was held in the boys’ honor. Lisa and Jonathan sat next to each other in the front pew.  Throughout the service Lisa was strangely quiet.

On the minds of all people who attended the service (which was basically the whole town) was the thought that the Black Where had now began it’s attack on the boys and that none was safe.

It was not until Lisa and Jonathan took flowers to place inside the coffins did Lisa show any signs of emotion. As she walked up to the caskets her eyes begun to fill with tears, she took one look into the first casket she fell apart. Lisa ran sobbing down the aisle, out of the church and into the pub. She ran straight into the arms of Brandy. Brandy stroked Lisa’s head and cooed softly to her until she calmed down. When Lisa was calm enough to speak without sobs interrupting she looked up into Brandy’s large kind eyes. “Brandy, can I stay here for a couple nights? I don't want to stay in that large castle all alone. Nothing has ever happened here and there is always people around.”

“Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. Poor dear Lisa. Nothing has ever happened at the castle and it is so much more safe. I really want Jonathan to stay at your home. I don't trust this old building. It could fall with no much more then a slight push.” she said with a laugh “I have talked to your mom and she said that it was all right with her so Jonathan will be coming home with you tonight.” Brandy ended in her comforting motherly voice.
