Muslims believe there is one God, the same God the prophets of the Bible prayed to and worshipped. Muslims usually refer to God as Allah. This is simply the arabic word for God. Even Engligh speakers will use the word Allah. This is because in English, God can be pluralized, or made lowercase as in 'a god' (pagan). 'Gods' may refer to pagan gods also. Allah in arabic can not be made into these other forms. It is unique, as is God's nature. The graphic below is Allah written in arabic.
