In Memory of Those Who Fell in the Gulf War 1990-1991

Our brave forces went to fight Saddam Hussein And most of them came home safely again But
some of the brave men gave up their lives Leaving behind sad children and wives.
Some of the
dead were only young lads Still mourned by proud mums and dads Not really knowing the reason why
It had to be their son chosen to die.
Brothers and sisters comfort each other Over the loss
of their hero brother Not really knowing the reasons for war Still trying to grasp what the fighting
was for.
They say it was so that people were free To live their lives like you and me But
it really is so hard to understand Losing a loved one in a foreign land.
Maybe in time the
world will know peace And all the fighting will cease But to those who are grieving the Bible it
saith There's a word to remember that word it is faith.
