My website isn't going to be here for long anymore!

In April, I wanted to inform Yahoo that my credit card info changed. I kept on getting weird pages in italian where I could not update my credit card info. Mailing them got me nowhere, they would only reply to me with the instructions or a link on how to get on the wallet page, which would not load anyhow. As well as any attempt to cancel and close my account. After hours of browsing on the Yahoo/geocities website, I finally got a Phone number where to call.

I tried calling from the Netherlands, where I live and I had to answer security identification questions for about 5 minutes before I could get to the point. They asked my Phone number incase wed get cut, we got cut, and they never called back.

I got several emails saying my account would be suspended and closed. Being smart, in the meanwhile I took all info off my site.

But in June, I saw that they charged my credit card twice in May, as well as in June. For no help, and no service.

I got instructed to call 1-866-562-7219. I got a very bitter custommer service representative that said I would not be reimbursed and he wouldnt let me explain that my attempts to change my payment method were unsuccessfull and that my card would still be charged. I told him that it wouldnt be so: I will change my card number. I wanted an address where I could make a written complaint about me wanting First to change my credit card information, and then not being able to cancel my account. He hung up on me at 17:29.

I did called 1-866-562-7219 again. And the man there instructed me to call 1-866-722-9932. The lady that picked up the phone said they were not in any manner affiliated with Yahoo.

Is this is how Yahoo treat their custommers after 10 years, they dont deserve anything!

Bring your business somewhere else!!!

And I am still to be contacted on FaceBook, Hyves, and by email, of course: [email protected]
