Lure of the Wicked

Boromir's dagger was in his hand even as Rumil leapt to his feet. Together they stood with weapons at the ready, as they searched for the source of the yelping and crashing. Suddenly, Orophin rose from the underbrush, tangled in his leggings that hung down around his knees, with his limp member dangling between his thighs. His face was red from his collarbone to his ear-tips as he tried to shove his clothing back into place. From behind the tree stepped Haldir.

"I hope that we provided ample entertainment," Boromir growled as he bent down for his leggings.

"Some of us found it more entertaining than others." Haldir eyed first one brother and then the other. In elvish, he chastised them both. "You are supposed to be on the borders, guarding our realm. Or had you forgotten?"

"Are you spying on me?" Rumil demanded of both his brothers, ignoring the fact that Haldir was his leader and he was supposed to be on patrol, not indulging in sexual activities with Lady Galadriel's guests.

Haldir's eyebrow arched gracefully as he stared at Rumil. "I came looking for you. And him," he jerked his head back towards Orophin. "Lord Boromir, the fellowship grows worried for your safety, I shall escort you back to Caras Galadhon."

"Thank you," said Boromir as he sat on the exposed root and pulled on his boots. "I was lost and Rumil happened along."

"Yes, I can see how beneficial my brother has been." Haldir said drolly. "You two, on patrol. Now."

Rumil scrambled into his clothing and quickly retrieved his weapons. Before he left, he planted a kiss on Boromir's cheek. "Haldir? Can you tell him thank you for me? I have never had such an experience before and I shall not likely ever forget." Rumil stroked his hand down Boromir's chest and between his legs. He squeezed the man through his leggings for emphasis with an impish grin.

Haldir rolled his eyes, but obliged his brother. To his amazement, Boromir laughed. "Tell him the feeling is mutual."

After Orophin and Rumil disappeared among the trees, Boromir stood. "I hope you are not too angry."

Haldir carefully replied. "He should not have dallied with you as he had other duties to attend. What he does when he is not on duty is none of my affair."

Boromir inclined his head slowly as he came to understand why Haldir was so put out. "I did not realize he was on duty. We had difficulty communicating."

"Really." Haldir responded as he turned towards the city. "I would never have guessed."

"Some things communicate themselves readily enough," continued Boromir as he followed. "The other elves could speak the common tongue. This was a bit of a challenge."

Haldir stopped. "Other elves?"

Boromir winced. "Has the fellowship rested?"

"I daresay more than you have, Lord Boromir. What were you thinking, wandering off by yourself?"

"I wasn't really thinking about anything," admitted the warrior. "My head ached and I needed to be alone for a moment to think. I went where my feet lead, I suppose."

Haldir let that pass as his brain turned over Boromir's previous comment. What other elves? Did he mean Legolas? That might explain the prince's attitude when he'd discovered Boromir missing. "There is a stream not too far from here if you'd like to wash up before rejoining the fellowship."

He thought about how he must look and agreed that a quick dip might be just right. Following Haldir, Boromir found himself standing on the edge of a deep running stream. The current was sluggish and the water deep enough for a man to wade in to his hips. Quickly, he shed his clothes and waded over the smooth pebbles and into the cold water. Haldir was amazed at how easily the man exposed his naked frame to any and all without apparent shame or modesty. He'd always been led to believe that men were prudish and rigid about such things.

"Where did you find him?"

The voice called from beyond the trees and Haldir turned. "Rumil found him, actually," Haldir answered as Legolas came to the banks of the stream.

At the sound of voices, Boromir stopped splashing and paused. "I am sorry, Legolas, I did not meant to alarm every one. I went for a walk and became lost." He dipped his cupped hands into the water and sloshed the liquid over his chest and belly, wiping away the last traces of Rumil.

Legolas did not miss the heavy bruises on Boromir's shoulders or the small red bite marks on his throat and chest. His eyes sparkled with annoyance. "I have been searching every where for you."

"I appreciate your concern," replied Boromir as he stepped from the water.

Legolas turned to Haldir. "Can Rumil not keep his hands to himself?"

Haldir felt his mouth turning up at the corners and tried vainly to stifle his mirth. "I am no judge of humans, but Lord Boromir looks like his is beyond the age of consent."

"That is not the point." Legolas switched back to common as he rounded on Boromir. "You should be more careful; our mission is far too serious for you to jeopardize it by rutting with every thing on two legs between here and—" he stopped abruptly.

Boromir had been putting on his leggings, but he stopped when Legolas yelled at him. "That is not your concern, Prince Legolas," he answered with deadly calm. "I did not endanger the fellowship or our quest."

"I am responsible for—"

Boromir tossed aside his leggings with an inarticulate growl and stalked forward. "You are not responsible for me. You swore to guard Frodo and help him. I, on the other hand, am quite capable of seeing to my own defense, not to mention my own affairs."

Legolas and Boromir stood facing one another. Both of them breathed heavily and their faces were flushed with anger. Haldir looked from one to the other. He had a thought and, once more, his lips curved upwards. "Just kiss him, cousin, and get it over with."

Legolas started and turned his bright eyes toward the March Warden. "You overstep your bounds."

Boromir just stared from one to the other, trying to decipher their body language since he could not understand their speech.

"Do I?" Haldir folded his arms. "Once you discovered Lord Boromir's absence, you immediately called for me to help you search for him rather than trusting that he was safe within Lorien's borders. Even now that you know he was safe and that your reaction was unjustified, you are still angry. Jealousy does not become you."

"I am not jealous," Legolas hissed his denial even as a pale pink flush crept over his cheeks.

Haldir arched an eyebrow.

"Whatever," Boromir muttered between anger-stiffened lips and went to retrieve his leggings. His annoyance mounted as he realized that in his anger, he'd tossed his breeches into the stream's shallows and now they were soaked. He shook them out and droplets of water sprayed over the clearing.

"He is handsome," Haldir purred as he stepped towards Boromir. "And Rumil seemed quite satisfied. Orophin, too, appeared to have been quite impressed."

Legolas' blue eyes grew wide and his nostrils flared. "Rumil and Orophin?"

Boromir turned at the sound of the familiar names. "What of them?"

"You had them both?"

Frowning, the Gondorian answered slowly with a question of his own. "What is all this about?"

"Did you have both of Haldir's brothers?" Legolas new he sounded unreasonable and tried to calm himself, but he couldn't believe after all the months of traveling together, Boromir would choose Rumil and Orophin for an afternoon of intimacy without so much as noticing him.

Boromir glanced over at Haldir, who seemed quite interested in the ground. Then Boromir realized that the elf was not looking quite so low and followed the blue-eyed gaze to his own groin. He grinned wolfishly. "If I did not know better, I'd say you were jealous. But that couldn't be so, could it?"

Something in Boromir's tone caught Haldir's attention and he looked up. The man wore a feral _expression and he moved slightly, as if about to step towards Haldir. Suddenly, Haldir realized what it was about Boromir that had sent shivers down his spine. He realized that Boromir was baiting his Mirkwood cousin.

Legolas schooled his features into a calm mask and said nothing as Boromir moved towards the March Warden. From the corner of his eye, he saw Haldir smile and he stiffened. Surely Haldir would not allow Boromir to touch him? To his horror, that's exactly what Haldir did.

Haldir stared deeply into Boromir's eyes and read the human's mirth over laid with determination. He felt the strong hands grasp his hips and hauled him close and he smiled. He could feel Legolas' anger rising, even though his cousin said nothing as Boromir leaned forward and kissed him firmly on the mouth. What did surprise Haldir, however, was the way the kiss sent tingles down his spine, straight to his groin. The soft beard grazed over his lips, sensitizing them, and the warm tongue dipped between his lips and danced for a moment with his own. His hands reached out of their own accord and clasped Boromir's firm, wet buttocks and squeezed them harshly. Boromir grunted softly against his mouth and Haldir could not help the laughter that bubbled in his throat. Oddly, in as much as he knew Boromir was only using him as bait for Legolas, he found himself wanting to explore more of the human's lusty nature.

Legolas tried not to stare as Boromir's manhood stirred or when Haldir squeezed the human's tight bottom. He tried not to be angry, but he was. Moreover, he tried not to be excited. But he was that, as well.

"I would have never thought you a voyeur," Boromir said against Haldir's lips.

Legolas hissed. "I am not."

"Careful, Lord Boromir, you may intend to only light a torch, but you may ignite a bonfire." Haldir said as he saw Legolas' darkening _expression.

Boromir shrugged and stepped away from Haldir. "I find elves beautiful and alluring. Some have even found me exotic enough to desire a few hours in my company. I will make neither apologies nor excuses. If you've an interest, speak up."

Haldir simply stared at Boromir. The man's arrogance was beyond anything he'd ever imagined.
"Do not flatter yourself," Legolas spun away with his blond hair flying over his shoulders and took a few steps away. "If you desire Haldir, then by all means, have him."

Boromir laughed and his rich voice echoed over the water. "He is handsome, but so are you. Must I choose between you?"
