Images of Love

Where silver shards of luna beams
paint shadows on the earth,
where hearts of hope sing to the night
their songs of joy and mirth.
When memories of crimson dawns
linger on the minds of weary men,
When stories of the days of old
are said to enrapt faces of children.
And all the ravages of war are naught but memory
and salted tears of young maids have become as dry as clay
upon his gilded throne of oak, he thinks of her.

Where blackened scales of dragons skin
lay bested on the ground.
Where twilight's dance on crystal brooks
and whispers of the night abound.
When skylark's freedom breaks
the pale blue of the sky.
When eagle's wings soar glinting,
golden in heavens high.
and all the creatures of starlit night rests at nature's hearth,
and peace has settled upon the land, gentle as a lamb at birth,
Within his silken sheets, he holds her to his breast.

Where snow capped mountains guard.
the towering pines of scented green.
Where angel's hair and old man's beard
drape majestic trees serene.
When soft and gentle otters play,
in pools of shimmering light.
When deer and fawn lay in soft grass
and smile upon the sight.
and purple canopies host twinkling studs of stars,
and silent dreams glide across the unseen face of Mars,
Against his soul of age he brings her closer to him.

Where shining, soft, chestnut hair
falls long and flowing about her face.
Where gentle eyes fills his senses, reels his mind,
and hold him tight within this place.
When warm sweet lips raise up to his,
to feed hungers and fill his needs.
When love is born, bursting forth,
showers earth in silver seeds.
And warm, naked flesh merge washed in tears and sweat,
And all the passions of two souls collide, desires and yearnings are all met,
Blissful on her gentle soul, he will lay....
