LOVING GOODBYES

Each night we part  and go our own way,
until we meet again the following day.
Each night as we sigh and say goodbye
and reach to wipe that sad tear from our eye.

Let's think of the wonderful love we share,
and be happy to know that it's true and rare.
Let us savour every moment and bask in its glory,
and enjoy our part in this, our wonderful love story.

Let our hearts sing together an eternal love song,
knowing that a love like ours can never be wrong.
Let us share our wings of passion and pleasure,
feasting our souls on that beautiful love we treasure.

To you, my sweet darling, I write this poem,
as together through my heart in glowing love we roam.
Some day soon, in the flesh, our bodies too will meet
and greedily of lust and sensuous desire we shall eat.

If our troubles grow and our strength should ever fade
then in each others loving arms we shall shade.
The strength and passion of our love will help us recover,
for all the world can see we truly madly love each other.
