The Fund prepares college juniors, seniors and graduate students to work for more than 80 newspapers as copy editors. The interns attend eight regional Centers for Editing Excellence before beginning work with grants from the newspapers that agreed to hire them. As with all Fund internship programs, each intern who returns to college in the Fall semester receives a $1,000 scholarship. I attended the San Jose State University Center for Editing Excellence. |
