| Soap Opera Weekly July 16, 2002 "The Battle for Edmund Begins." Think you know where the Brooke/Edmund/Maureen-or-is-she-Maria story is headed on All My Children? Think again, says head writer Richard Culliton. "There is a big surprise in this story," he grins. "There is something coming out of left field that is really interesting. It's about where "Maria" has been." The other shocker will involve Brooke. "You're going to see a side Brooke that we haven't seen in years," teases Culliton. "I'm crazy about Julia Barr. Tad is Brooke's confidant through all of this. So that fear Edmund has of the bond between the two of them...in a way, Edmund is right. "There's a presumption that just because "Maria" is back, Brooke and Edmund are over. That is false," he declares. Culliton urges Brooke and Edmund fans to hang in there. "It's not going to be a tear-jerker story. This is going to be battled out." |
