While we're not making any Daytime Emmy predictions for next year just yet, it must be noted that the scenes between MEK and JB at Dixie's apartment in Zurich were positively phenomenal. Knight delivered an understated yet emotional portrayal of a man who had to face the fact that everything he had been hoping for suddenly and tragically had been taken away.
Meanwhile, as Brooke stuck around to comfort Tad in his grief, we too felt soothed by Barr's quiet presence. Given the gravity of the subject matter, these scenes easity could have become an over-the-top sob fest. But with these two Emmy-award winning actors front and cover, there was no reason to worry that that might happen- it couldn't have.
