We the BE people of The Lady Grey Society firmly BElieve that the wonderful characters of Brooke English and Edmund Grey are the perfect match. We BElieve since the writers were smart enough to revisit Brooke and Edmund's love story, they need to follow it through to it's fairy tale ending - a glorious wedding followed by a little bundle of joy.
Julia Barr is a two-time Emmy Award winner and deserves a compelling story worthy of her talent and professionalism. We BElieve Julia Barr and John Callahan light up the screen with their chemistry and charisma and we hope that will not be overlooked nor wasted. We adore the romantic aspects of their relationship, and are ecstatic that the history of their relationship is finally BEing explored. Brooke's love healed Edmund and made him whole again. Edmund's love penetrated Brooke's heart so deeply that she turned away from him - more petrified of losing him than letting him go. This couple shares one of the most heart wrenching good-bye scenes in the history of soaps BEcause Brooke and Edmund are SOULMATES. |

We know Eva LaRue's return to the show will impact our cherished couple. We are not foolish enough to pretend that Maria and Edmund did not share a sacred bond. We welcome the chance for them to resolve unfinished business BEcause we know Brooke and Edmund can endure the conflict and come out stronger. Brooke and Edmund are BEautiful and Eternal. |

We want this story to play out solely based on the merit of the characters involved and not BE influenced by the real life relationships of the actors. It is true that many off-camera lovebirds play on-screen partners, but it should not BE the determining factor when telling a great story. ABC daytime has at least two instances - OLTL's James & Kassie DePaiva and PC's Brian Presley & Erin Hershey and CBS has ATWT's Kelley Menighan Hensley and Jon Hensley - where the storylines have successfully been done without the actors being exclusively connected. |
