| If you have already read 'About Me' then you know I had a 'proper' job, but I also have a labor of love 'job'. A few years ago I started a hobby which soon blossomed into a very small business and I thought the name 'Moonlighting' was appropriate. Now that I'm retired I am aiming to build this up to be more full time. I make jewelry; started out with just earrings and in the passed few months I've started doing necklaces and bracelets. I work with your basic glass beads, sterling silver and silverplated beads, some solid gold and heavy gold plated beads, and Swarovski crystal. My favorite is the crystals; the sparkle in the light, especially sunlight, has always intrigued me. Credit goes to a friend of mine who is my inspiration for getting into making jewelry. When we first met she was only making jewelry and doing some beading, but since she has moved on to much bigger and better things, still making jewelry, but making her own center pieces ... and lots more.
