| Golden Faith |
| "Golden Faith" is about the problems surrounding the wealthy Ding family. Ivan Ding went to Australia on business and to visit his friend, Julian and his (Julian's) aunt. Meanwhile, Julian's girlfriend, Rachael, from HK comes for a surprise visit. Later, Ivan returns home to HK cuz of a family emergency... well kinda... It wasn't until later when there was a misunderstanding regarding stolen loot and Ivan was faced w/ charges... and the prosecutor turned out to be... Rachael!!! Poor Ivan and Rachael... they meet up in court a few more times... What a shame that Ivan, the good guy, is faced w/ charges... The sad thing was that he didn't do anything!!! It turns out that Ivan has younger brother, Oscar, who loves dolphins, and I guess all sorts of animals cuz after his return from studies in Canada (i think that's the right country...), he made a comment about how cruel for his aunt to be wearing, a raccoon fur. Later on, Oscar wants to help out w/ the family jewelry company and quits his job as a dolphin trainer. Major complications take place and a scheming uncle is the cause. Darn that evil man!!! Ivan's secret got out and the friendship between the two brothers broke (of course that wasn't really the cause... it was let's say... "more fuel to add to the fire" if you know what I mean) and they kinda go their seperate ways for a small part in the movie... In the end, the evil uncle is gone (I can't remember if he died or was arrested). THERE IS JUSTICE AFTER ALL!!! Brothers are friends again. The ending wasn't so "Happily Ever After," but it's kinda fair for everyone... |

| So good! Can Gallen Law Ka Learng be any better than his role as Ivan?! NO!!! Sorry to say, he's already good at his sweet and good guy roles. Of course, we can't forget to mention his good looks ^_^ Did I forget that in almost all the movies he starred in, he sung the theme songs? And I must say, he has a good voice... ^_^ I remember his roles in past movies such as "Secrets of the Heart"; "Feminine Masculinity"; and "Old Time Buddies." I heard there were others but I've never seen them so I'm only comparing from the 4 I know of. In the 4 I know, he always was the good guy and his characters were romantic. ^_^ Ah... now I remember... A lil or about 10 years ago, he was in this movie... (I only remember the Chinese name...) "Faw Mou Gwi." If translated word for word... it'll be "Fire Rose." Well anyways about that movie, I think that was about when Gallen first entered the entertainment world... the role he played was this rich, stuck up, charmer named Alex. You know what was funny? In his role in "Secrets of the Heart," Gallen was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans w/ a beard and sunglasses in the beginning of the movie. He looked almost exactly like my 2nd uncle! My 3rd uncle and I teased (my 2nd uncle) that he's famous!!! haha!!! |
