Special Agent Amanda Parker was ordered by her boss to infiltrate the Carters one of the most powerful families in the U.S and maybe a potential traitor to the country. She did not like it, in fact she protested loudly, but nevertheless she was stuck with it. Because she was a professional and she needed the job in order to achieve her goal, she did what was necessary.
She was told the job would be simple especially for someone of her caliber, the only hitch she would have would be in the form of Adam Carter, the eldest son, the heir and also a former agent of the force. A person with sharp enough eyes to maybe recognize the imposter that she was. Amanda scoffed at the idea, afterall with more than ten years of experience in her field she was one of the best.
But the job turned more complicated than she had expected. Problem arose and not from outside but from within herself. For someone who had always kept her emotions at bay Amanda was starting to feel uncomfortable with her lies and deceit. In a job where she was supposed to find out the Carters' true feelings towards their country, they were in turn making her discover things about herself. One member in particular was forcing her to search deep within herself underneath the layers built over twenty years to find her winter�s heart.
