| The Lady's Familiar |
| My name is Stephanie. Steph by some, Stevie to others *wink*, and Eileen when we have differentiate between Stephanie's with red hair....and with my crowd of friends there are three of us by that description! I graduated the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics in June of 2002 and recently transferred from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA to University of Texas in Arlington. I am a biology major and at UTA I plan to also double my major with Biolmedical engineering or Environmental Conservation. On with more about the personal me. I enjoy almost any equestrian sport, and ride a bit myself, though current schedule does not allow me to partake of such activities much. I also make a number of crafts such as cross stitch and bead work. I plan to learn to embroider and just received my sewing machine so I do not have to bother my mom so much for use of hers. I became interested in the medieval and renaissance ages when I was in middle school in Cabot, Arkansas. At Christmas, our music director decided to put on a Madrigal Feast for our parents! I was very excited as we learned to play the recorder and sang old Christmas carols. My mother made my first costume then of an earthy grey with burgundy flowers. As soon as I stepped into our transformed cafeteria, I was in love with the atmosphere. And ever since then I have been hooked! I have but one sister in this fair world by the name of Katrina. She is my confidant and my friend. She finally had the recent opportunity to accompany to the faire and is now also hooked on the feeling of the ages. I am at present dating someone rather special in my life. Quite surprising to many people who have known me for a while, since they know my independance streak has a tendancy to be a mile wide but even the independant need a soft touch. |
