Movies, theatre, ballgames, hockey games
bike and horseback riding, walking in the park,
walking on the beach, travelling, cooking, dining in, dinner out, working on my website, writing poetry, reading, music of all kinds, firelight, quiet conversation or heated debate, fresh-cut flowers, scented candles, bubble baths, body lotions and female things... but I built a patio deck once and I am not afraid to mow the lawn.

Things That Make Me Unhappy:
Dishonesty, intolerance, lying, cruelty in any form,
war, anger, high humidity of the South, freezing cold winters, abuse to children.

Italian, Mexican ,Chinese,  chicken, eggs, salads,  French crepes and pastries, some Japanese and Pilipino...I'll usually try anything once

I Collect:
Victorian hatboxes, pink-and-white plates, antique hatpins, butterfly faeries, commemorative pins, picture postcards, menus, Department 56 Dicken's Village,
anything "Pride and Prejudice" (books, movies, etc.), porcelain dolls.

Man of My Dreams:
A nice, sincere, easy-going ONE-WOMAN man. Someone friendly and lots of fun. Confident but not snotty. Successful but not necessarily rich. Open and honest. Warm, affectionate and playful. Boyish charm is a plus. The ability to communicate is a must. His name is Mickey.

My Philosophy on Romantic Relationships:
There must be chemistry, compatibility, compromise and commitment...open communication...mutual respect and trust. Shared activities are great, but not as though they are joined at the hip. You need to give each other room to breathe and space to grow individually as well as together in the relationship. I have projects I'm working on and would encourage my husband to work on his. The time spent alone together should be quality time doing things you both enjoy, filled with meaningful conversation and lots of love and affection.
