My Faith


I have seen my own times of sorrow, pain, hurt. I have experienced tough times financially, physically, and emotionally within my lifetime. I can't imagine going through those times alone. Oh, I had wonderful family and friends who were there for me....ones that lent a hand, held me up in prayer. And for that, I am forever grateful!

But that is not how I made it through it all. During those times, I cried out to God and he heard my every word. He was always present. He is the one that put those wonderful family members and friends in my life. I can't imagine a life without prayer. That's what gets me through every day of my life.

Now, things didn't always turn out the way I wanted or the way I expected. As I look back over times in my life, I can think of situations that turned out so differently because I put my trust in Him. I thought it was best one way, but when I surrendered it to him, He put his perfect plan into action. While I couldn't understand how it could work out, I reflect back upon those times, with eyes opened wide now as He showed me how it could and would work out.

But I do not forget to pray during the good times too. I always thank him for all the wonderful blessings he has showered me with day after day. I don't forget to stop and smell the roses, for He sent them to color my world. I attempt to find the good in each day and the blessings he has sent.
