Many of the works I write are so closely tied to the works of others that I do not claim them as wholly my own.
Sometimes these works are inspired by others' work, sometimes they contain the works themselves, and other times they would not be complete without an understanding of the work whence sprang my ideas.

just for extra ground
--immune from kicks now.

of winning races and being queen

"But I often long for some prose when I'm reading a book of poems."
~Robert Bly, Sleepers Joining Hands
The poetry of his form is like making love to an Ondaatje anthology.
His every movement and action makes her tingle, with warmth, with chills, with anger, love, arousal, fear.
But she understands the man through his actions no more than she could fathom the poet after making love to a cinnamon peeler.
