1.) Outline Shape. Use a water-soluble pen, to trace the button shape onto the center of your fabric. Make dots rather than a solid line so it easier to erase; you just want a general idea of the shape.

2.) Focal Flowers. Look at the drawn design on your instructions. Use a water-soluble pen to make a dot to mark center of rose; also make a dot at the end of each "spoke" (these should be somewhat equally space around the center dot) The distance from the center dot represents how large your center rose will be. Also mark the centers of each daisy. DO NOT TRACE THE DRAWN PATTERN - - IT IS LARGER THAN YOUR DESIGN AREA ! !
