Fairy Dolls

So, can you tell I like Amy Brown's art? *Grin* These bases are all by Manda (I love these little bases). I was looking through my base files, intending to make the rightmost fairy in the second row when all this inspiration struck. I found the pose I wanted among Manda's bases, and I was struck by how many of them are based on Amy Brown's fairies. So one thing led to another, and another, and another, and now there are ten of them, with possibly more on the way. (Who me? Overdo things sometimes? Nah.)

This is Friandise, a sugar plum fairy and another animated doll, and she won an award in a contest at Mizfit Dolls.

Fierra
Rosalinde

Recognize the fairy on the left? She's the fire sprite from "Curiosity." I re-colorized her and made a few other changes when I did Rosalinde for an artisitic vision contest at Shimmerland (LOVE their site). I quite like how she turned out, in both versions, and Rosalinde won some awards!

"Curiosity"

I really like this piece, and apparently, so did a lot of other people! It won second place in a Fire and Water contest at Mall of Dolls. The mermaid base is the first one I've done myself, and she's based on a painting of Amy Brown's called "Sirens." The fire sprite base came from Xandorra.
