SUMMONING OF THE ESIAI'DESH'MIRAIN
The Ard Rhighan and the Regent prepared to move forth from the
Griannan.....with one lilting word in the pure elvyn speech, her summons
rang forth :
"Esiai'desh'mirain"
Wherever the Knights of the Emerald Shield might be in the lands and
worlds......they could nae fail to hear as it made their token shields
reverberate and glow.
And a pause for breath..a nod of satisfaction and another phrase was uttered
like a cantrip:
"Evrantilen Esiai'desh'mirain...Tashen Faladar !"
The Knights Ramoshi hear the command rarely given and the red runes of their
surcoats waken from quiessence.....molten silver eyes bleed to rubies and
the runes reply.

Ard Rhighan of the Empire of Crystal Dragondom

Talirisia clings to the great, smug beast below her, her legs wrapped
tightly against the blue hide, and grits her teeth at the smug
accountings of the conquered wench Janqua bound and mated.
Eyes of killing violet roll towards the skies, now hidden, now
revealed by the mass of starless night black hair that tosses in the
wind of the great dragon's flight.
The Word reaches the warrior with haste; at Janqua's side, where
shield and blade are strapped, a pulsing, flared green seconds the
beckoning.
Over her shoulder, where Reptile flies upon his own mount, she raises
her right hand in a signal that is hald salute, an understanding of
duty. And with a warrior's cry, she fists her hands in the cloth
reins that keep the half-elf secure during Janqua's more dangerous
maneuvers and urges the great beast onward to the Emerald Palace.

Emerald Shield

The Emerald Shield began to pulsate. He wasn't nearby but he was
slowly discovering that that was starting to matter less and less;
though he was nothing like his grandfather, who could recite all the
major events of your life just by bumping into you. Travel was out
of the question, by the time he arrived what ever caused the signal
would have long passed. Instead he sat back in a large comfortable
chair, breathing out a deep breath he closed his eyes doing what the
Emerald Shield does best.
The land passed in an ephemeral blur of all different colors and
places, thoughts bent at first on the shield that is where the took
him. Talirisia and Malcolm winging their way towards the Emerald
Palace. It had been a long time since they'd all been together,
unfortunately it would have to wait a little longer. A gust of wind
toussled the violet-eyed woman's hair, one with fingers the backs of
which trailed ever so lightly across one of her cheeks with the
barest of contact, prickling the senses. With that the presence
moved on, not particularly palpable but more of a spectral
reminiscence.
He blurred across the country side once more, invisible to the
inhabitants of Folcuth and nearly all others. The Emerald Palace came
into view. Guided by his memories its layout and his newly hightened
sense of forethought - not that he was aware of the latter - he
sought out the Ard Rhighan. His presence was hardly felt, like a
ghost who was interested only in its own business. The apparition
took form upon arriving at his sister's location. Shanadar appeared,
ghostly and insubstantial.
"Dearest sister, it has been far too long." His words echoed
softly within Edain's mind. Unspoken, though communicated through the
words, she would understand that he appeared to none but her.
Shanadar looked different than one might have remembered, his ears
were slightly less pointed, and when he spoke his canines were
noticebly larger though not approaching fang status. He was also
sporting a large pair of feathered wings that were most definately
absent during his last visit. "Much has changed." His Silver-shot
grey eyes took in the surroundings a hint of mischief tugging at the
corners of the half-grin that slid onto his lips.

Emerald Shield

The blue Stormdragon lands just outside of the boundaries of Erestai,
followed by Reptile and his larger beast. With a lithe twist, the
warrior lands upon nimble feet and shrugs the now sweltering furs
from her body. Her hair is wind-tangled, her cheeks are red with the
wind's touch. But her clothes are at least clean, and her eyes shine
with a glow that has little to do with anything outward.
*I sense Koriel near,* came Janqua's thought. He sounded tired, even
to her. *I will look. Find yourself a warm bed and a man to share it
with.*
The words Talirisia returned were not meant to be spoken aloud, and
the blue's laughter followed his disgruntled mistress as she turned
on her heel smartly and headed for the gate. To Reptile, she calls
over her shoulder, "Think you we have time to clean up?"
After a second's time, the amethyst-eyed woman laughed and shook her
thick mane of black hair from her face. "No," she decided for
herself. "Edain-- Or rather, the Ard Rhigan, et cetera and so forth,
probably wants us there right away. Better to err on the side of
caution, right?"
Surely.
Those who know the beauty know that she does as she will, Queens and
Kings or no, and if she would show up in the High Queen's greeting
chambers as such, she is certain to make at least a stir. Looking
more like an amazon of legendary stories than a Queen's warrior of
the Emerald Shield, Talirisia strode forth into the Castle, her soft
boots making no sound, one hand resting upon the hilt of the thin
blade at her side in casual repose.
Outside, Janqua silently made wagers with Koriel, who had bugled his
greeting across the lands, on the varied responses of the crowd.
