| This is Queenie (the Queen of America). She's the leader of the "Cool Chicks". Her colors are silver and blue. She's a driven, tough, responsible chick. She's not afraid of anything or anyone. She is indeed the Queen, and owns America. She's on a crusade to make it a safe and pleasant place to live. She inherited the estate (America) from her father, who died from exhaustion trying to save America politically. At the same time, she discovers that she is betrothed to Jack Graydon, the son of her father's best friend. She is determined to escape this arrangement, but finds herself falling in love with Jack. He has loved her for years, and is more than willing to marry her. They marry (happily), but Queenie refuses to have children until she has quit fighting crime. Queenie (Whose civilian name was Nina Mericka) decides that the only way she can win is to take the war out of the political realm and into the streets- where the problem lies in the first place. Prepared to fight to the death, and all alone, she is pleasantly surprised to acquire some unusual-yet-indispensable allies. (C) Charlotte May, 2001 |

| This picture shows Jack and Nina dancing at their wedding reception. Jack LOVES to dance, his favorite being the tango. Nina isn't much of a dancer--in fact, prior to her reception she'd never danced a step--but she has fun anyway. | This picture shows Nina, after the Cool Chicks break up (after Matt dies). She has been living under a series of pseudonyms (and hair colors), trying not only to hide from Jack and the others, but also from herself. She has moved from one surface-relationship to another, including brief jaunts with Val Kilmer, and, pictured here, Brendan Fraser. However, she cannot think of anything serious or permanent, and makes a hasty exit if the beau looks like he might be considering it. This picture shows Nina just before she goes back to Chickago. She and Brendan are going to his film premiere, where he plans to propose (though she doesn't know this).
