THE NEO-MOON MASQUERADE

In a solar system called the Milky Way, there lives earthlings and aliens alike. They live in peace and harmony. The year is 2998. The world is fresh, it just came out of a deep nuclear winter hibernation. On the planet Earth, the king planet, there lives the famous Neo-Queen Serenity, and her husband, King Darien.

After Neo-Queen Serenity awoke from the hibernation, she woke everyone else on Earth, as well with the power of the Silver Imperium Crystal. As everyone awoke, they began to feel the power of goodness. The planet wasn't in turmoil anymore, poverty was gone, hunger controlled, and enough room for everyone. It was the Golden Age.

As others were getting along, another majority of the population in Crystal Tokyo were not. They were mean, and used dark magic on the rulers of the kingdom, and their bodyguards. The queen was so distraught of their cruelty and attacks, that she banished them to a netherworld called Nemesis, a billion light years away.

Everything was peaceful after that. No more attacks from an evil source. Life went on going, as the battle was told as a bed time story. Of course the battle was twelve years ago. So now, we take a look at what life is now....

Chapter 1-

On the lone planet of Mercury, there is a small kingdom of no more than five hundred inhabitants. It is a colony of astronomers, mathematicians, and thinkers. It is situated on the South Pole, for the harmful heat and penetrating rays of the ever so close sun would incinerate the kingdom. It is encased in a giant tinted, and well air conditioned, bubble.

In the heart of the colony, there is a small, but luxurious palace, made of shimmering blue marble and fashioned in an Arabian minaret style. Around the largest minaret of the palace, there is a grand balcony. Atop this balcony, stands the queen of the Neo-Mercury kingdom.

Her name is Amy, which is French for "friend". Formerly known on Earth as Sailor Mercury when she was a teenager, she has grown up to be quite a woman. Her once cropped blue hair is now shoulder length and tied up in a bun, and her bangs are grown out and fall in two strands on each side of her face. She is wearing a simple, but beautiful sleeveless evening gown made of light blue satin with a silver flower print. It is a maternity dress. She is nearing her time very soon, as her hands gently clasp her stomach, this is evident.

"Whoa, active tonight aren't you?" she said. "Don't worry little one, you'll be out of there soon enough."

She turns to looking in her telescope. "Greg," she says, "come here quickly. You must see this."

"What is it Amy?" Greg asked. Her husband, and king of the Neo-Mercury civilization. They've known each other since high school. He is wearing a deep blue tuxedo, with a flowing cape and top hat.

"Well aren't you looking all spiffy tonight?" Amy said.

"Yeah, well you know, Darien did say for us to wear our 'formal' attire.", Greg replied.

"As long as it's your good tuxedo and not your fighting gear, I guess it's okay," Amy implied, "Oh yes! You must see this! Venus is remarkably bright tonight."

"Really? Let me see," Greg spoke. Greg peered to the telescope.

"Wow, I wonder how Mina's doing?" Amy replied.

"Fine I suppose. Her and Julius are really bonding, perhaps they will get married."

"Perhaps. Come, we must prepare to leave for the Moon, Serenity is dying to see you." They went back indoors. Amy went to her vanity and placed a delicate silver tiara atop her head. Then she wrapped a sheer, light blue silk shawl around her bun and down her arms. Greg is wearing a blue tuxedo, with a blue top hat and cape. Greg picked up a stick cane and two masks, one he placed over his eyes, and the other he handed to Amy, a delicate wand-hand mask.

"Here you need this, it is a masquerade ball," he said. Then they exited the palace to their ship, and departed for the Moon.

Chapter 2-

Venus is a cloudy, desolate planet. A lonely, small kingdom sits below that dense atmosphere of toxic gases. Also, encased in a bubble, this kingdom has a princess ruling its domain. The Princess Mina.

Once the heroine known as Sailor Venus on Earth, Mina grew up to become a beautiful young woman, but still unmarried. She is currently courting Darien's younger brother, Julius, who looks almost exactly like his brother.

Mina is sitting on a window seat in her splendid, Renaissance style castle. She is wearing a strapless peach satin gown with a sheer overlay, a peach shawl wrapped around her neck, and long peach gloves. Her hair is fashioned in a French twist, with one long curl strand on each side of her face. She has a dainty gold tiara atop her head. In her hand she holds a wand mask, adorned with glitter and feathers.

She gazes off into space, thinking about her love. Oh, Julius, I love you so much, she says in her head, if only you knew how much. Her face lights up when she sees a small spacecraft land at the castle. She begins her descent into the courtyard, meeting Julius at the end of a spiral staircase. Julius is wearing a peach tuxedo, with a peach top hat and cape, and a white mask over his eyes.

"Are you ready to go, Sweetheart?" he asks.

"Yes, lets be on our way," Mina replied. As they head for the courtyard, Julius spoke to Mina.

"I'm sure tonight is going to be a blast! We haven't all been together for at least six months."

"Yes," Mina replied. "Not since Amy told us that she was pregnant. That was a surprise, remember? She was about three months, and not even showing. I wonder how she looks now?"

"Well, I'm sure tonight will be equally full of surprises." Julius said, as they entered the ship and prepared to take off.

Chapter 3-

The bright red planet, the second largest celestial colony, home to one hundred thousand people. Also encased in a bubble, this rather large kingdom is home to humans and aliens alike. Their sovereign is Queen Raye, and at her side is King Chad, though he doesn't do all of the talking. Raye was once Sailor Mars on Earth, and has a strong thirst for power. Her subjects cower at her feet, and fear her psychic mind. Raye and her husband Chad live in a huge Gothic Cathedral-style palace, where they spend most of their most time indoors.

Raye consults fire for her answers to everyday questions, and now has a very important question to ask it before leaving for the ball.

"Oh, Great Fire, tell me if I am truly pregnant, and what I will bear." she says, kneeling in front of the open fire pit meditating; when an image appears in the fire, of her holding two babies, one in each arm.

"Oh, my gosh! Chad, I'm pregnant! And we're going to have twins!" she exclaims, jumping up from her knees suddenly.

"Whoa! No way, dude!" Chad shouted back. Being an ex-musician, he had this surfer-dude disposition, as well as shoulder length hair.

"Ah! I can't wait to tell everyone! Oh no, I gotta get ready! Ah! I can't exercise to much now, but I need to exercise a little, and... I gotta talk to Amy, she's pregnant too, and... No! She's almost ready to pop! I'll talk to Serena, or Serenity, whatever Meatball Head's name is now! Oh my gosh, look at the time!" Raye shouted, rushing around and went in her room to get ready. She put on a slinky black satin dress with a mandarin collar, a red dragon print, and a slit on each side.

"Gee Raye, isn't that dress a little..." Chad was cut off.

"A little what?" Raye snapped, "I just thought I would wear it tonight, since I wouldn't be able to in a few months. Is that okay with you?"

"Oh, yeah, it's fine. No problem." Chad said sheepishly.

"Now get me my hair brush, will ya?" Raye asked, calmer than before. Chad handed her the brush sitting right next to her. Raye brushed her long black hair and tied it back into a bun with read hair sticks, leaving two strands of hair, that she had dyed bright red, hanging on each side of her face. Then she placed a silver clip on each side of her head that had small rubies on them.

"Chad, bring me my shoes please." she implied. Chad brought her black, three-inch heels over to her. He was wearing a red tuxedo, similar to Greg's, with a white mask over his eyes.

"Now, can you get me my coat and mask please?" Raye asked again.

"They're like, right next to you Raye." Chad corrected.

"Chad, I'm pregnant, remember? I can't be doing too much. Now get them for me!" Raye commanded.

"Whoa! Yes, ma'am!" Chad jumped. He handed her a long, leather trench coat and a red wand mask trimmed in sequins. "Now, let's go!" Raye yelled, heading for the spacecraft docked by the palace.

"Hey, Raye! Wait up, will ya!" Chad called, running after her. Then the two of them departed for the Moon.

Chapter 4-

Beyond the asteroid belt, there is a giant planet, full of swirling storms and gases, Jupiter. The largest planet in the solar system. Beneath the dense, overwhelming atmosphere of the red spot, there is another kingdom, the realm of Princess Lita. Lita was also a Sailor Scout. She was Sailor Jupiter.

Lita is soon to be married to Andrew, one of Darien's best friends, the former arcade clerk on Earth. His failed engagement to Rita left him forlorned and he had no one to turn to, except Lita. She showed him that he had to go on with his life, no matter how difficult it seemed to him. They have been going out ever since, and have recently become engaged.

Inside of their bubble on Jupiter, the royal palace is a metallic, futuristic building. Inside, the future king and queen are preparing for the Masquerade Ball on the Moon. Princess Lita is wearing a simple evening gown made of green silk. It has spaghetti straps and a slit on the right side. She was known for her hair to always be in a ponytail, no matter what the occasion, but tonight, and only tonight, she wears it down with nothing but an emerald accented hair band.

Andrew is wearing a deep green tuxedo, styled in the same fashion as Chad's and Greg's, complete with top hat and cape.

"Oh Andrew, isn't this exciting?" Lita asked, "I just can't wait to see everyone again. And they are really going to flip their lids when they see me with my hair down." She then put on a pair of pink rose earrings, that she's had for as long as she can remember.

"Yeah," Andrew replied, "And what's even more surprising is that the ball is on the Moon and not in Crystal Tokyo as usual. Something must be up."

"Nothing's up. They just wanted to have a perfect evening is all." Lita stated, fiddling with her diamond engagement ring so that it would sparkle in the light. Andrew saw this and went and stood behind her, so he can see both his and her reflections in the mirror.

"Well, everyone wants everything to be perfect," he said. Then he moved her hair away from her neck and kissed her, then placed a gold necklace with a deep green jade heart charm on it around her neck.

"Oh, Andrew! It's beautiful!" Lita exclaimed.

"Come," Andrew said, "let's go." Lita went over to her vanity and picked up a green wand mask adorned with peacock feathers, and Andrew got his mask and cane, then took Lita by the arm, and they went on their way to the Moon.

Chapter 5-

The Moon Kingdom is fashioned in a classical architecture, and the palace is reminiscent of the Taj Mahal in India, but the sovereign doesn't live there. Neo-Queen Serenity of the Moon lives on Earth with her husband Darien, King of the Earth. Their home is in Crystal Tokyo, one thousand years in the future of old Tokyo, the original home to all the Sailor Scouts. Except for Venus, who spent her life in London until she moved to Japan as a teenager.

In place of Queen Serenity, the Moon is governed by two delegates, known as the Duchess Molly and the Duke Melvin. Longtime friends of the Scouts. All day they have been preparing for the ball, and Serenity and Darien came early to help them.

Serenity and Darien have two daughters, Rini and Chibi-Chibi. Rini is almost five, and Chibi-Chibi is almost two. Rini is an honorary Scout named Sailor Chibi Moon, and Chibi-Chibi herself was created by, and is symbolic, of the combined powers of all the Scouts.

The girls are constantly squabbling, and have been at there parent's heels all day. "Give me back my dolly, Chibi!" Rini squawked.

"No!", yelped Chibi-Chibi, tightly clutching a Sailor Moon figurine, "It's mine!"

"Give it back, you spore!" Rini demanded. "No! Go away you, you... bunny rabbit head!" Chibi-Chibi stuttered out.

"Hey, hey, now girls. Try to keep it down to a low roar, huh?" Darien said, sighing.

"Daddy, tell Wee-Wee to go away," Chibi-Chibi sobbed climbing up her father's leg.

"It's Rini you silly baby!" Rini corrected, climbing on her mother's lap, who was sitting by a large window with the moon's landscape looming beyond. "Mommy, I want my dolly back!"

"Rini, you have to share with you little sister." Queen Serenity implied. "She's not my sister! She's just a freaky little baby with funny hair!" Rini corrected stubbornly.

"I'm not a baby, I'm a little lady!" Chibi-Chibi sobbed, and then went into a pout.

"Okay my ladies, I think it's time to go to bed." Darien said, putting Chibi-Chibi back on the floor.

"Oh, do I have to?" asked Rini, "I wanna see Aunt Amy, Aunt Mina, Aunt Raye, Aunt Lita, and Aunt Pu, and..."

"Dear, Aunt Pu is not coming. She can't, remember? She has to work," her mother said.

"But Daddy said that you invited her." Rini corrected. Serenity then shot a rather, displeased look at Darien.

"Uh, OOPS?" Darien blurted out, unsure of what to say. Serenity said, "Rini, just because you invited someone, that doesn't mean that they have to...." She was cut off suddenly by a voice from the corridor.

Chapter 6-

"Hey! When's the party starting? You always were late, weren't you Serena?" Mina stated, with Julius by her side.

"Aunt Mina! Uncle Julius!" the girls cried out, running towards her. Mina squatted down and embraced them both.

"Rini! Chibi! My, look at how you've grown!" she said. Then Julius went up to Darien.

"Hello, brother. So nice to see you again," Julius said. They shook hands and pulled each other into an embrace.

"Yes, yes. Always a pleasure." Darien said, squelched in Julius's arms. Then Mina let go of Rini and Chibi-Chibi and walked over to Serenity and hugged her.

"You look great! How are you? Darien, and you?" Mina asked them both.

"We're great," they said in unison. "Thanks. I love your French twist. How are things with you and Julius? Has he proposed yet?" Serenity questioned, acting as giddy as when she was a teenager.

"No, not yet. I hope it's soon. I love him so much!" Mina answered her.

"I'm glad to hear that Mina. I wish you the best of luck!" Serenity answered back. As Mina and Serenity were talking, so were Darien and Julius about the same topic.

"So, have you popped the question yet?" Darien asked him, keeping an eye on his daughters, who were squabbling over the doll again.

"Well, I haven't proposed yet, but I hope to tonight. But don't tell anyone. I want it to be a surprise." Julius whispered to Darien.

"How are you, Serenity?" Julius asked her, hugging her.

"I'm good, could be better though. Only for obvious reasons," she said, looking over at her daughters. "Why don't we go down to the ballroom, so we can meet our guests?" Serenity asked Darien.

"Sounds good to me. Let's go," he told her. They started walking towards the door when Darien spoke to his daughters. "I think it's time to go to bed," he told them.

"No. We want to stay up, don't we Chibi-Chibi?" Rini asked her sister.

"No arguing. It's time to go to bed. Now come on, let's go." Darien commanded.

"Mommy, we wanna stay up. Please!" they begged, "Pretty, pretty please with cherries on top?"

"Well, I guess you can. But only on one condition; that you go to bed at nine o'clock. Okay?" Serenity instructed them.

"Okay!" Rini and Chibi-Chibi exclaimed. As they said this, the doorbell rang. So they all hurried downstairs to see who it is. As they neared the bottom they could see it was Amy and Greg, standing there talking with Molly and Melvin.

"Aunt Amy, Uncle Greg!" the girls burst out.

"Rini, Chibi-Chibi, how are you doing? You look bigger. Have you grown?" Amy asked them.

"Yep!" the girls said in unison, hugging Amy and Greg. Then Amy went over and gave Mina, Julius, Darien, and Serenity all hugs. Greg did the same to Mina and Serenity, but shook Julius's and Darien's hands.

"Serenity, how are you?" Amy asked. "I'm good, and you. Nine months?" Serenity asked her.

"Yes, it should be any day now," Amy answered back, "So, Mina, how have you been doing?"

"I've been doing good. Julius hasn't.... You know." Mina told her.

"Well let's go and get some punch and dance," Serenity suggested. As they were doing this, more guests showed up. There is to be a total of near one thousand.

There are greetings, talking, laughing, and lots of merriment. The girls are excited to see so many people. They've never seen so many at the palace all at one time. As they watch their parents, and Mina, Amy, Julius, and Greg, they see Raye and Chad walk in.

"Uncle Chad, Aunt Raye!" the girls cry out. "Wow! You look so pretty Aunt Raye." Rini tells her.

"Why thank you, dear," Raye answers. "You look very pretty too."

"I agree with Rini, Raye. You look stunning. Of course, you always did go for something bold and daring. How have you been? I've missed you." Serenity informs her.

"Well I've got some big news, that I bet you can't guess," Raye tells her friends.

"What?" they all say in unison.

"Chad, would you like to tell them?" Raye asks him. "Sure. Like, dude, she's pregnant! Dude! Not only that, but they're twins!" Chad exclaims.

"Wow! Twins! I'm so happy for you!" Serenity exclaimed. "Oh, Raye, you must be so excited."

"I agree," Mina said.

"Well it must be a full moon, or something." Amy said.

"What's this I here about twins?" Lita asked, walking in, arm-in-arm with Andrew. "Our Raye? Having twins? Congratulations! We're gonna have to give you a Baby Shower," she said.

"Lita! Is that you!" all of girls said in unison, with their mouths open.

"See Andrew. I told you they'd flip their lids." Lita told him. "Yes, it's me. I just thought I'd put my hair down for the occasion. Do you like it?" Lita asked.

"I love it, Lita," Raye told her, "It makes you look so elegant. You should do it more often."

There was more hugging, greeting, laughing, talking as more guests started to show up. As they came, Molly and Melvin would greet them. Then Serenity and Darien would say hello. The party was slowly beginning to start. As the ballroom started to gather more people, you could see some were eating, talking, drinking, dancing. The guests were being merry and having a good time.

Chapter 7-

As the crowd gathered, Amy told Greg that she went to go to the ladies' room, and that she'd be back soon. As Amy was entering, she saw a very pretty woman standing in front of the mirror putting on some powder. She is wearing a tight black bodice that tied up in the back, spaghetti straps with a black shawl hanging from her arms, and a skirt that swished when she walks. She was also wearing a black choker with a small red orb hanging from it. On the counter of the sink, there sits a black fan with silver holders. Her hair is the color of forest green, done up in a bun with parts of her hair curled hanging around it.

When Amy stepped up to the sink, the woman turned around to see who it was. As she looked, she could see a woman who is very pregnant and ready to give birth very soon. The woman is much older than the last she has seen her. She has matured very nicely.

"Oh, my gosh! Amy is that you?" the woman asked, with the look of shock on her face.

"Yes, it is. Do I know you?", Amy replied, not knowing who the woman is.

"It's me....Celia. It's so good to see you again after so long," Celia said, hugging Amy.

"Celia! Oh, goodness it is so good to see you too! How did you get here? What about your duty? Oh, wait till the others see you here. We have so much to catch up on," Amy told Celia with enthusiasm for seeing her here.

"Yes, we do. Look at you. You look radiant. So how far along are you now? Gee, I guess I've missed a lot. So, how's Greg?" Celia pondered.

"I'm due within the next week or two, and Greg is doing great. He's real anxious to be a father. I don't know who's more excited about having the baby, him or me. By the way he's acting, you would think he is the one who is pregnant." Amy told Celia chuckling.

"Well, you have to admit, it is his first kid and he's just really excited. It's not every day you have a first born you know. Well, let's go meet the rest of the crew so that they can see me." Celia said as she grabbed her fan off of the counter and put her compact in her purse.

As Amy and Celia were coming out, Rubeus came walking over. Amy just stared in shock at the sight of Celia talking to Rubeus.

"Oh, Amy, allow me to introduce you to my date. This is Rubeus, Rubeus, Amy," Celia said.

"Nice to meet you," Rubeus said.

"Likewise," replied Amy, in shock to see Rubeus here.

Amy, Celia and Rubeus walked to a large table at the rear of the ballroom and there stood everybody.

As they were walking towards them, Mina stated something that shocked and puzzled everyone.

"Hey, isn't that Celia with Amy? And who's that guy with them?" Mina asked inquisitively.

"I think your right, Mina. I believe that is Celia, I mean it looks like her. But if it is her, then how did she get here. I thought she was supposed to guard the Door of Time," Raye stated.

"Everyone, I have a surprise. Guess who I ran into in the bathroom." Amy announced approaching the group.

"Who?" everyone said in unison.

"Hola, you all!" Celia exclaimed brightly. "Oh, my goodness! Look at you all! You've all grown up so fast. I can't believe I've missed so much. This is what I get for guarding the Door of Time. Well, I'm here and that's all that matters."

"Where's my manners. Everybody this is Rubeus," Celia said as she pointed towards him. As she said this everyone's eyes got really big. Rubeus seemed to squirm too.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, but I have to be going to mingle now. Celia, I'll see you later." Rubeus stated as he walked away.

Chapter 8-

"Did you say Rubeus, Celia?" Raye asked.

"Yes. Why do you know him?" Celia responded.

"Well, you could say that. In fact, we all know him in a way. I think it's time to get some fresh air. What do you say us girls go outside to talk, if you know what I mean?" Raye suggested winking at the girls.

"That sounds like a lovely idea," replied Mina.

The girls walked outside to the balcony. It was lovely out there. The stars were shining like miniature lanterns in the sky. The crescent of earth gave an illuminous glow to everything, especially the lake that was behind the castle.

"My it is lovely out here," Celia said. "This is why I came. Because I missed this and all of you guys. I love each and every one of you. Don't anyone ever forget that. So, what is it you wanted to talk about Raye?"

"Well, just what you think you are doing with a scum-sucker of a guy like Rubeus." Raye declared.

"That wasn't nice of you to say something so harsh. You don't even know him. Take that back, right now Raye!"

"No, I won't! And yes I do know him. I know what a heartless bastard he is and how he could do that to you," she replied getting upset.

"Do what? What are you talking about?" Celia asked with a puzzled expression on her face.

"What Rubeus did to you. He's cruel. Do you not remember?"

"Uh, no. I haven't the foggiest idea as to what your talking about. What did he do to me that's so cruel?" Celia asked.

"Well he only tried to kill us scouts and Rini, that's all." Raye told her.

"You must be mistaken. Rubeus wouldn't do anything like that. He's nice and gentle. You obviously must be thinking of someone else."

"Yeah, when pigs fly. Raye's right Celia. Rubeus is cruel and has no heart. It was a miracle that we are all still here," Lita said.

"Well, I don't care what you say. Rubeus is sweet and gentle and I don't have to get the third degree from you," Celia stated in anger, "I'm leaving. Good-bye, it's been good seeing you again." Celia went inside and left with Rubeus with tears streaming down her face. She knew that Rubeus couldn't do such mean things.

"Let's not let this outburst ruin our evening. Celia will realize the truth later." Raye stated huffily.

"Raye's right. Let's just go back in there and forget about this and start to have a good time. Isn't that why we are here?" Mina replied. "By the way. Serena, why are we on the Moon and not on Earth?"

"I hoped that that wouldn't really come about this evening, but because it has, I might as well tell you gals." Serenity replied.

"I've found out from a source that the there is a place called the Negamoon radiating energy that I have never seen before. Darien and I believed that maybe they were friendly people. But that isn't true. We have found out that they have spies on Earth and have been watching us for some time. So I decided to throw this ball together to warn you that we may be having a war. It's been presumed that they will attack soon. And we know that we will need a great deal of help. Remember what happened in the past.

When Serenity was finished everyone was silent for a moment to ponder on what has been said. "Well, just let me know when this all starts to happen I'll be the first one in line to beat them down." Lita stated angrily.

"I know Lita, and I will, don't you worry. But for right now let's just keep this under wraps and pretend we don't know and have a good time," Serenity told the girls.

They all went inside with news that they most likely wouldn't forget, but they all decided to push it back into their minds.

In the meantime inside the men were wondering what was taking the women so long. Then they saw that Celia had run inside crying, and wondered what had happened.

"Where's Celia going?" Greg asked. "Something must have happened between the girls."

Darien knew what might have happened, but didn't want to let everyone know all of the little details. He knew how treacherous Rubeus was and what had happened between him and the Sailor Scouts in the past. He thought that maybe he should tell them what was going on, so that when the time came they were all prepared.

"I know why Celia is crying." Darien said. "It's a long story, would anyone like to hear it?"

"Yes, please." Julius said.

"Well, in the past there was a strong force by the name of Wise Man. With him were the people from the Negamoon. We have found this same planet, and we thought that it was peacefully inhabited, but we are wrong. They plan to attack within a couple of months. We have an insider on the story so that we can prepare for the war. Until then, let's keep this hush, so that we don't alarm the people on Earth or the Moon."

"Here come the girls." Chad said.

Chapter 9-

"We just saw Celia run off, is everything all right?" Greg asked worriedly.

"Yes. She's just upset, that's all. She took some news rather unwell. She'll be better within a couple of days. So what did you all do while we were out talking?" Serenity replied.

"Oh, nothing much. We just talked ourselves." Darien said.

"Why don't we get back to dancing?" Lita suggested.

"That sounds good to me, what about you guys? I think it's time we get down and boogie! This is a party after all, isn't it?" Chad exclaimed.

"Yeah, Chad's right. Here we've been talking about what's going to happen in the future. We should be living the present while we can, and not predicting what will happen," Mina said. As that was said, they all went into the ballroom and started to dance. The night went on lovely. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, when all of a sudden Amy started to squeal.

"What is it, Amy?" Greg asked.

"It's time! My water just broke!" Amy exclaimed. Greg and Amy rushed to the hospital with everyone wishing them luck. The other scouts told them that they would be right behind. With this sudden commotion, Julius thought that it would be a good time to propose to Mina. Mina and Julius were on there way in the car, when he bent down on his knee.

"Mina, I have something to ask you," Julius said.

"Oh, my gosh! Julius, you can't be. Oh, I have waited so long for this moment," Mina announced.

"Honey, I think you're the most beautiful woman I've ever met. Even though you are a Sailor Scout, and that sometimes you're in trouble, but yet you seem to take care of yourself, I hope you'll let me take care of you. I love you so much that I don't want to see you ever leave. Mina, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Julius asked, with rather nervousness.

"Oh, yes! Of course I will!" Mina burst out. Then they kissed passionately, as they pulled into the hospital's parking lot.

It had been at least twelve hours since Amy was admitted into the hospital room for delivery. Everyone was waiting patiently for the doctor to come outside and tell them everything was all right. Mina had showed off her engagement ring to the girls, as was Julius boasting about his upcoming wedding to the guys. Just then, Greg burst out of the room shouting that it was a boy.

"Congratulations!" They all shouted.

Everybody went home, after congratulating Amy and Greg many times on their beautiful baby boy. They named him Kaleb Joseph.

When Serena and Darien came home, they found that Rini and Chibi-Chibi had fallen asleep. They both took them upstairs in their rooms and put them to bed, wishing them a good night. All was well.
