This is a online support group for
families who are adopting from China
and have a Dossier-To-China date of
(or around) June, 2001.
The adoption journey is sometimes compared to an emotional roller
coaster - many ups and downs along the way. The process of adopting
a child from China is long and arduous. The paperchase can take as
long as it takes but generally is finished in less than 6 months.
Referrals, at this time, are taking approximately 12 months.
Permission to travel generally takes between 4 - 6 additon weeks.
We are a restricted group so you will be screened before allowing
to join our group. This is to protect our privacy as well as yours
once you are a member. Believe it or not...we have had problems.
