MY FAVORITE RECIPES
Chicken and dressing

1 batch cornbread (cooked)
2 (14 1/2 oz cans) chicken broth
1 - 2 cups chicken pieces (boiled and torn into strips)
1/4 cup onion chopped
1/4 cup green onion chopped
1/4 cup bell pepper chopped
1/4 cup celery chopped
1/2 Tbsp sage
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Mix all ingredients
bake @ 450 degrees  1 hour
SWEET POTATO PIE

4 SWEET POTATOES (BOILED WITH 1 tsp SALT ABOUT 1/2 HOUR)
1/4 CUP MARGERINE
1 CUP MILK
1 EGG
1/3 CUP SUGAR
1 tsp ALLSPICE
PIE CRUST

PEEL AND MASH POTATOES, MIX WITH MARGERINE AND MILK, THEN ADD EGG, SUGAR AND ALLSPICE... MIX... BAKE IN PIE SHELL 40 MINUTES @ 400 DEGREES
Tater Tot Casserole

1 lb gr. beef
1 can cr of mushroom soup
1 can cr of chicken soup
1 can green beans (drained)
24 tater tots
1/4 oinion chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Brown and drain meat, put into casserole dish, stir in green beans, onion, salt and pepper.  Pour over 1/2 soup. cover with tater tots. Pour over remaining soup. Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes

LUMPIA
(This is a Philipino dish similar to egg rolls)

1 lb gr beef
1 onion diced
1 1/2 carrots diced
2 sticks celery diced
2 eggs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
lumpia wrappers

Mix all ingredients except wrappers. Wrap and roll mixture.  Fry in cooking oil until golden brown.
COBBLER
(works with most any flavor pie filling)

1 stick margerine
1 cup  flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 cans pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt margerine in baking dish.  Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in mixing bowl.  Add milk to mixture, then stir.  Pour mixture over margerine,
DO NOT MIX! Bake 40 - 45 minutes.



TACO RICE CASSEROLE

1 lb ground beef
10 3/4 oz tomato soup
3 cup cooked rice
1/2 lb cheddar cubed
5 oz can tomatoes with chilis
1 tsp salt
8 oz can wh kernal corn

Brown and drain meat.  Add taco mix, soup, cheese and tomatoes.  Heat until cheese melts.  Stir in rice salt and corn.  Heat to boiling, then simmer 5 minutes.
