NANA'S PUMPKIN PIE . . . the impetus for this page! Florence Johnson Corban 1 1/2 C (1 small can) pumpkin Mix Together: 1 C sugar (brown and white) 1 T flour 1 tsp each, ginger and cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt Add mixture to pumpkin and stir. Add 1 unbeaten egg and mix well. Stir in 1 large can evaporated milk and 1-1/2 C water. (I add 1T. molasses.) Pour into an 8" pie plate lined with crust and sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Bake at 450-degrees for 15 minutes, then 350-degrees for 30-minutes or until knife comes out clean. ENJOY - FJC jc
