FUMI SALAD - from Anita Rummell 	 Serves 6

Served at Susan and Charlie's "Nine & Dine" 7-19-97

SALAD:					DRESSING:
1/2 lg head cabbage, chopped		1/2 C oil
1/2 red or Vidalia onion, chopped	1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 pkg Ramen noodles, crushed		1/2 tsp celery salt
  Do not use seasoning packet		4-1/2 Tbs Balsamic vinegar
1/2 C whole almonds, browned	  	1/2 tsp salt *
2-1/2 Tbs sesame seeds, browned		1/2 tsp each, pepper & sugar

Chop cabbage and onion. In skillet, carefully brown almonds,
watching they don't burn. Remove to a board to chop and in hot 
skillet carefully brown sesame seeds for better flavor. 

Combine cabbage, onion, crushed noodles and nuts in a large bowl.
Mix dressing and toss with salad. 
The nuts will warm the dressing and it is DELICIOUS!

*I skimped on salt and substituted celery seed for celery salt.
