Newspaper article which appeared above the recipe:	by Carol Boyer

"When you are the hostess, what's nicer than spending a few moments of
relaxation with your guest before you serve the meal? Judy says, 'This
is a good meal that doesn't require lots of last-minute work. It is a
dish for family or company -- and not just for adults, the children like
it too.' A touch of nutmeg, a bit of garlic and crunchy bacon all enhance
this recipe which she got from a friend of hers several years ago.

Following this meal, Judy likes to serve Angel Pie, a nice light dessert
recipe of her mother's." * Find Angel Pie under desserts

"Picture red and white checked gingham wallpaper, pretty stained glass
trivets above the cupboards, an antique apple picker now holding artificial
apples and ivy, an antique crock for wooden utensils and you have but a
glimpse into Judy's attractive colonial kitchen. Her husband Mike built
pine cabinets when he remodeled their kitchen and used a beam in the
ceiling which were actually part of the children's (Susan, David and
Curtis') old swing set!

[Mike's Ladybug even back then] Judy placed lady bugs fashioned out of
contact paper here and there on her walls and over light switches. Gretel,
the family dog completes the picture as she finds her own cozy kitchen
corner on the red brick floor."
