CHEESE BALL ~ Irene's 1972

8 oz cream cheese, softened
5 oz jar Old English Sharp Cheddar
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
dash Worcestershire Sauce

Soften cheeses and add other ingredients.
Roll in chopped nuts if desired.
Chill


CHEESE IN PASTRY ~ Audrey's

1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls 
1 round gouda or brie cheese

Lay dough flat and press triangles together at seams.
Place cheese in center; wrap dough around the cheese
and seal with fingers. It's pretty if you can pinch
a small gathered point at the top.

Baste with egg white and water wash.
   	(1 egg white + 1 T water)
Bake according to directions on tube or till browned on top.

Serve with crackers.
