Okay, first off, my opinion is that you shouldn't be
having sexual relationships with anyone unless you're
either married, or ready to face the consequences (though
most people never really are). So, if you decide that you are
ready to have sex and face the consequences, you should
know how to go about protecting yourself.
Now, I've heard people say using condoms (male or
female) makes them feel as if they are less intimate with
each other because they are not making direct contact. I
think they're wrong, but that's just my opinion. My reason
is that you are protected from several sexual diseases, plus
you have a 99.9% chance of not getting pregnant. But just
remember, you could be in that .1% that do get pregnant
using them. (But .1% is a much smaller chance!) There are
also birthcontrol pills, patches, etc, spermicides, and the
number one key to preventing pregnancies (the one that
works 100% of the time), which is absitence.
Now about abortion and the morning after pill. This is
a really good subject to have a debate on. Now, my opinion
is that I think it (the pill) is wrong because it is killing a
sperm and egg that could be forming a baby.
Some people act like abortion is the only choice. Well,
guess what? It's not. There is such a thing as adoption and
people who can't have babies of their own. Some people
claim they are "forced" into abortion by parents, boyfriend,
etc, but we all know that it's not true. No one can force you
if you stand up for yourself and say "No!" However, if you
just stand there and let them, then yyou are becoming a
rug, something for them to step on. Whatever you do,
abortion isn't the only thing out there; don't let someone
tell you it is.
