Step 1 Organize-
Read "Go For It" Girl Scout Gold Award Studio 2B insert and attend a council sponsored Gold Workshop.  Make a meeting wuth your troop advisor (your leader) and develope a timeline
(see example here) for steps 2-4, include some thinking about where step 5 might fit on your timeline.  Make an agreement with troop Advisor.
Step 2 LEAD Girl Scout Gold Leadership Award-
Earn 3 IP's related to aprts of teh GS Promise and Law.  Earn the charm from any Studio 2B Focus Book.  Take action: spend 30 hours in a leadership role.
Step 3 NETWORK - Girl Scout Gold Career Award
Do one or a combination of the following for a total of 40 hours: Career Shadow one of more people, Visit colleges or trade schools, Publish a newsletter or create a web page about careeers for school, Partner with one or more Girl Scout Concil staff memeber, Get an apprenticeship or intership, Organize a career fair
OR: get a paying job or start your own business put in atleast 40 hours on it
Step 4 EXPLORE- Girl Scout Gold 4 B's Challenge
Become - Assess your set of skills.  Set and achive two goals related to self improvement. 
Belong - Crete a community profile to find out more about the community needs and assets
Believe - Come up with an actual vision statement for your Girl Scout Gold Award Project
Build - Focus on developing a specific network of people who might help with your GS Gold Award Project.
Step 5 CREATE - Girl Scpout Gold Award Project
Your Gold Project must take a minimum of 65 hours.  The time you spend working on your Gold Project in steps 4-6 may be included.
Plan It, Know more about It, Choose It, Budget It, Map It, Present to Committee

Step 6 ACT - Take Action 
Do it! After you receive council approval, put your plans into action.  Be flexible and adjust plans if necessary.  Work closely with your project advisor.
Step 7 REFLECT - Think About It
Submit Final Report and Meet with Gold Award Committee
