This is Bearon **I know it is normally spelled Baron - its a mix between Bear and Baron** my little yellow dog. He was born March 2, 2000. I got him on my birthday the when he was a little over 2 months old. Nathaniel thought that if I got another dog I might miss Grunt a little less. I called the Humane Society on my birthday and they said that a lady had just called and she had a chow/yellow lab puppy she had to give up. She dropped him off at my house with a dish and his still favorite toy. She said his name is Scooby and she gave me his shot record and said he had an appointment soon. He chewed on my fingers automatically.
I am disappointed to say that I hated him until he turned about seven months old. He was really playful and loved to chew on people. I would sit or lay on the couch watching TV and he would run over and bite me and then run away. It got to the point where I would tell Nathaniel to save me from him. I have to say he was a really cute puppy. He just bit so much with those little, pointy puppy teeth that I'd have marks all over my arms and legs.
We are very happy that he has grown into a really friendly nice dog who doesn't bite any more. He plays with his toys alot. We come home and there he is waiting to play with a toy in his mouth. He is kind to all other dogs and children. He even licks the cat sometimes. I am glad that no one took me up on my offer to give him away. Bearon has added a lot to our lives.
