Hi I stayed home from work today I was feeling kind of sick and I found out that I have a lot of sick time available. It sure feels nice to have a day where you can rest once in a while. I have been reading about a lot of health stuff when I have been online recently so that is why I haven't updated too often.
My friend SueAnn is battling high cholesterol and wanted to know some things that would help. I had read a little about wheatgrass juice and flax seed before. They sure seem good for the body. I also read about the Raw diet. I am not sure if it should be a plan for life but it sure seems that it would help to clean out the body. I started on it on Monday. I have noticed that my cravings have gone down and yeah!! I am 188 pounds today. I know that may seem like a lot but I haven't been under 190 in years. It may be just a temporary loss but it sure was a bonus. I don't know how long I will stick with this I hope it will be a while. I usually have a hard time sticking to anything besides Nathaniel.
I also got a NordicTrac last Wednesday. I was looking for a treadmill in the paper since I wanted to exercise but I am lazy so I thought I'd put in front of the TV and work out like I did when I went to the gym. I called a couple who were advertising a bunch of stuff for $125 they said that had sold but they had a NordicTrac for $65. My Aunt Linda and Uncle Doug had, had a NordicTrac a long time ago when I went to visit them. I called my Aunt Linda and she seemed to think I was asking her for hers. She was like "I'm not ready to get rid of ours". That sold me right away. I went and bought it. It took a little getting used to but now I can do both arms and legs at the same time. I can only do about ten minutes and then I am dead since I'm so out of shape. I am sure if I continue I'll get better. Of course I pulled a muscle so it will be a few days before I can do it again.
Last Saturday I went to see my neighbor girl Brianna perform in a concert with her school. She was in the Allstate Chorus. This was the All County. They did beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they sang some Christian songs. I am so happy for my neighbor kids that their parents go to all their school stuff. They also seem to take the time to play with them. It is strange how people that from outward appearance you would think they wouldn't be so interested in their children's lives and other people are just the opposite they look like the perfect family (if there is such a thing) and they are not. Brianna and Kayla her sister just turned 13 and 12 respectively. I still don't know what to get them for their birthdays. They both gave us the cutest Valentine.
After I got home from the concert I saw that Nathaniel's brother Tim had come over with his 15yr old sister-in-law Morgan. I went out and brought in the dogs. Bearon was all happy and excited to see the new people. He was wagging his tail and it tangled in the Playstation cords to the controllers. Nathaniel got mad and picked poor Bearon up by his skin and moved him. Bearon was crying because it hurt to I kicked Nathaniel to make him let Bearon go and because I was mad that he was punishing Bearon for something he was doing unknowingly. I then kicked Nathaniel out of the house and he took Tim and Morgan to get something to eat. When they got back we played Frieght Train. I tried to let it go what happened and have an enjoyable evening but I hope Nathaniel learned not to punish the pets when they aren't intentionally doing something wrong. I don't think it is fair to treat them or anyone in such a way.
Valentines Day was good. I got to go home early and give Nathaniel a kiss he is soo cute when he is sleeping. We later played Freight Train and tied with 88 points. Of course my favorite number is 8 so I was double happy. I think of it as a special I love you message from God, yes I may be nuts but I do.
Nathaniel has been doing really good in RollerCoaster Tycoon. He loves it and some of his rollercoasters are just plain genious. I really enjoy watching him sometimes.
PS. Mom, Dad, LaZer and SueAnn came over Sunday to pick up Dad's tools. Dad has a very fake looking hand since they are removing a wart. I really love them all and it was nice to see them. I also found out last week that my mom is living in an apartment where she can have her dogs. This takes a lot of the worry off my mind. Praise God.
